"I have seen Dr. Roth as a second opinion and will never choose to see or speak to him again. I have never met anyone in any profession, let alone medical, who made me feel so unheard and uncared for. I never once felt he actually cared if my condition improved whatsoever. After my last visit when I left in tears and being given no practical avenue to take to meaningfully improve, I went back to my PCP, she consulted another doctor, and I am now on new medications Dr. Roth never brought up as an option. I am already seeing an improvement, whereas his option would have been thousands of dollars and in his words "probably wouldn't have worked." Unless your condition falls in a textbook treatment pattern (mine does not so I can't speak to that) my recommendation is to not bother seeing him, and I wish someone had told me that at the beginning. He will take your money and pass you off to someone else if he can."
"Dr. Roth actually IS Harry Potter and helped with a bad complication from another doctor no longer practicing. He was caring, throrough, listened to my concerns, and gave me choices (which I never got with the first doctor). I hope he never leaves south bend."
"Roth took over for Lyons' practice upon his retirement in 2020. I found Roth to be rude and dismissive of my concerns in regards to my reproductive health. For background, Lyons diagnosed me with stage 3 endometriosis in 2018. I have a familial history of severe reproductive diseases including PCOS and endometriosis. Roth pushed for me to go back onto a birth control after finishing orlissa, which was not something I was comfortable with since my body, historically, did not respond well to it.. I expressed that I have found birth control to make my pain worse and to cause other issues such as prolonged periods. He completely ignored my concerns and told me "This is not Harry Potter. I can't waive a magic wand and fix it." This is not what I was asking of him, as I know endometriosis is not something that is "fixable". I have not returned to his practice since August 2021 and have sought out an endometriosis and pelvic pain specialist instead. My new doctor immediately scheduled me for ultrasounds and a surgery to get to the bottom of the issue, unlike Roth who ignored my concerns and symptoms. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that this is the doctor who followed Dr. Lyons."
"Dr. Roth is very knowledgeable. He is hands on explains things and honest about what my options were to get better. I trust him and would highly recommend him to others."
