"I had an apt with dr Hayden FRIDAY well I ended up back in the hospital due to pleural effusions. I had an appointment set up for a consult for a full hysterectomy because I knew I was gonna be put on tamoxifen when I met with my cancer doctor. I met with my cancer doctor and my oncologist. They put me on tamoxifen and the oncologist said I want you to have a full hysterectomy due to the side effects of tamoxifen. He then sent orders for Dr. Hayden because I thought that’s who I would be seeing. I called yesterday and Hayden‘s nurse had already left for the day. Dr. Sievers nurse Lacey called me today and told me that no doctor there would be seeing me because I was gonna die due to having active cancer and the minute I got put under I would die due to having active cancer… My mother-in-law‘s jaw almost hit the ground when she heard that. This is the second time someone at this hospital has told me I was going to die due to having cancer. This is my only experience with a women’s health center. However, the first time I called the person I spoke to who was supposed to transfer me to a nurse tried to talk me out of having a hysterectomy because I’m only 34 and my husband might want more kids when I told her I have hormone positive cancer and would like to be around for my children that are alive then and only then did she decide to find a Doctor Who would talk to me only now to be told, no doctor will talk to me because I have cancer"
"I had all three of my kids here it's a very good hospital and very good workers I only had one problem with one nurse that was rude other than that out of all three of my kids I had amazing nurses and doctors"
"I am from out of town, so I did my research on women's health clinics in the area. The review scared me and I was nervous about my appointment, but this was the only place taking new patients so soon. I had to come write my review because I know how most people are more focused on the negative than the paoitive and love to write bad experiences instead of good. I wanted to share my experience with Mosaic today because they were amazing. Everyone I came in contact with was nice and greeted me with a kind heart. The lady at the front desk (I forgot to catch her name because I was nervous about my appointment and experience) was friendly, kind, and even had a conversation with me so my time standing at the front was not awkward. As soon as I made it to the waiting room my name was called. I believe it was a few minutes before my appointment time as well. Darby was patient care tech and she helped me relax even more as she got my information and vitals. We talked about my job, and our future plans, and how I am going to have to tag her on Facebook to let her know what my husband and I are having. Even the LPN who came in to just grab a signature was kind and welcoming. Kristen Selland APRN was absolutely amazing. She ensured I felt comfortable before doing anything and even read my information and stroked a conversation about our next move in December. She made sure I was breathing and was quick. Overall my experience was excellent. And considering the amount of women, pregnant and not, that were in there, I would say these reviews are not an every time all time thing. If you're reading this, and you're looking for a new place, please give them a chance."
"Experiencing the second of my children to be born at mosaic and I have to say I think a mechanic would do better.... this will be my 6th child and 2nd using mosaic, with the previous 4 I never had a feeling of being mistreated, with these 2 I never had a feeling of proper treatment.... its seriously scary to learn that mosaic is a teaching hospital....personally I would rather die in transit to another facility than have the uneducated staff at mosaic treat me"
"My daughter is expecting her first baby. She went for her second visit today which she was supposed to hear the heartbeat. She got to hear it for about 5 seconds. Everyone there was rude and acted like she should know what to do. No one told her that she needed to to do a urine test everytime, but instead of letting her know, they told her that she forgot something. She had no idea. They threw some bag over the counter, something about a 24 hour urine test....she's still not sure what she's suppose to do with it. I don't care if this is your first or tenth baby, it should be an exciting time. But instead my daughter left the office, sat in her car and cried."
