"When Frank Tout, Bruce Beck and John Ervin were in charge this was the all round the best school ever in the civilized world. And "The Howe Tower" was the gold standard for >50 years. Tom Lewis Musicals... enough said the man was a genius. And Bob Bramlett brought so many of us to classical music appreciation, what a gift. We joked how he and I were the EPITOME (ep-e-tome) of Machismo. Seems every Department Head at Howe was outstanding in their field, some were corn fields but that was the Agriculture Dept.
