"I have had some issues with this place and sadly It makes me feel very uncomfortable even going to see them for anything. Recently I almost ran out of a prescription that they once set up. They were holding me hostage until I saw them to refill the prescription. They could have very good doctors but the way they do things administratively I would never recommend."

"I went in for a manometry test and the person who did the test was awesome. The front desk staff thought treated me like I was disgusting and bothering them and I will never go here if again even if I need to. I will find a whole new doctor if they say I have to go here again for another test or anything. They are so full of themselves and horrible here."

"Had endoscopy and colonscopy recently. Dr Edwards was great. The staff was wonderful. I was treated better than any other medical facility I have been too. The staff is so nice and couteous. Wonderful staff. my procedures went very well right on time and I was given the best of care. Thank you"

"Very professional and caring people that perform colonoscopies and upper GI procedures. However, the Digestive Health unit that does HRM’s a procedure to check how well you swallow is a major fail. I was scheduled for a 10:30 am appointment. I was ready at 10:10 am and when they were notified I was there I was told it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait before I could be seen. I canceled the appointment and never received a call with an explanation, apology or offer to reschedule. I haven’t rescheduled."

"I’ve been treated at this office at the Kirkland Clinic in Birmingham for the past eight years. The staff and hepatologists have always been caring and helpful. They have minimum wait times because of the efficiency of UAB. Highly recommend."
