"My sister stayed here for a short period of time, and she could not stop raving about this place! She loved that it was a charming, historic building and came furnished. So, she didn't have to worry about much as everything was provided. The biggest praise she gave was for the property manager Russell. She spoke about how responsive he was whenever she needed anything. He was resourceful and will go out of his way to help when needed. She said she could text him whenever and he'd respond immediately. He is knowledgeable about the building and area. He offered great recommendations on food and places to go in her free time. He was friendly and quite funny. Thank you Russell for taking care of my sister for the short time she was there. She might have had a crush on him now I think of it haha! When she comes back to indy, that's where she'll stay."
"I stayed at Renaissance Towers as a tenant from early May to early August 2023. I have still not received my full deposit. As per Indiana law, tenants must be provided an itemization of any deductions within 45 days of the lease ending. If the owner does not provide the itemization within this time frame, then the entirety of the deposit must be returned in full to the tenant. I did not receive any itemized deductions, however a fee was deducted from my deposit. I was told by the building manager that the deduction was for "cleaning fee"; however, the leasing agreement does not specify a specific dollar amount that a cleaning fee costs, and again, I did not receive an itemized list of any deductions from my deposit within 45 days, and am still waiting for my full deposit to be returned."
"I had a family member live here. They had a negative experience. The leasing office also violated Indiana laws in regards to the security deposit. It was returned much later than the 45 days after the end of the lease, which is already in violation. My family member had to make several attempts for them to send it. When we received the deposit, it was not in it's entirety. Once again, a violation of indiana law. Which states 1) The deposit must be returned within 45 days. 2) Any deductions made, must be made within 45 days AND an Itemized report showing the deductions must be provided. If that is not provided within the 45 day window then the deposit in it's entirety must be payed back to the tenant. The apartment was left exactly as it was received so any suggestion that deductions were reasonable made would be incorrect, also there was no proof of the deduction ever provided. My biggest piece of advice to anyone considering living here would be to know your legal rights as a tenant."
"The apartment complex is very close to the hospitals, very clean and convenient. The building is secure with cameras in all corners and key tag security system which only tenants have. Not to forget the apartment is affordable and Russell Subba, was amazing during our stay.He made sure that if you ordered a package, it would be on your doorstep. He is very professional and friendly. If am heading back to Indianapolis, I would definitely head back. The building has a spot for people who love to bike with a spot to safely leave your bike(s)."
"I love it here. Moving into an apartment that doesn’t have your own colors, things, etc is weird, but this studio is awesome. I moved in for a 3 month contract. I’ve been her for 5 weeks. The price includes EVERY. SINGLE. THING. Dishes, flatware, vacuum, coffee maker, toaster, iron, iron board, and the like. I even have a crock pot and blender! The kitchen is complete with full sized stove, sink, and fridge. Some studios I looked at offered only a microwave and portable fridge. Believe me you’ll need more than that. Best feature of the apartments are that theres an ENTIRE wall of windows, which I love. It’s so bright. The bay window lets even more sunlight in. On move-in day I was taken by how pristine the apartment was. I’m a clean freak and this little gem was spotless. New paint, and clean, clean, clean. I just unpacked and got comfortable. I did bring my own bedding and am glad I did: the ones provided were a little tired, although the sheets provided were brand new. I still made up my bed with all my own bedding. The mattress is very comfortable, and with my own bedding it’s great. Finally there’s the building manager, Russell. He’s not what I’d expect of a building manager, having lived in professionally managed to apartment buildings for some time. Russell is intelligent, experienced and very responsive. Whenever I’ve needed something or had a question, I just text and he responds immediately. Unheard of! He comes right up and checks out the issue, usually taking care of it right then. I mean a wait of just minutes. Just today I asked for a new filter on my heat pump and BAM, there it was. Thanks Russell! This place is perfect. I love it. On these cold rainy days I love coming home and enjoying my place. Nobody bothers anyone, and the neighbors are nice. Believe me, this is the best value in all of Indianapolis."
