"I am so glad I found this place, Amanda the vision center manager is amazing. She went above and beyond by explaining to me what I was getting in my glasses. She explained things that no other vision center’s have explained before. It’s almost time for my husband to get glasses, and I will tell him to go see the sweet manager to get his new pair of glasses!"
"This was the absolute worst experience ever. I drove over 45mins to the Kokomo location to get my work glasses. After waiting in line, when it was our turn the lady employee gets up turns the lights out and tells us she has to close early because she hasn't had lunch and walks us off. This was an hour and 25mins before closing. She also saw a family prior to us, so now I am feeling discriminated against. I will be reporting this employee."
"Ive came here for years after my recent experience I wouldn’t spend a dime in there !!!! I ordered contacts here and talked to the lady and was told I left with them which I did not giving me the run around over contacts like I am trying to steal them is beyond me . These ppl half need to retire the other half are down right ignorant.. communication is awful I would rather walk around like Velma from scooby doo then to ever go here it’s in Walmart for a reason !!!! The fact they are treating me like a criminal and not showing me video of me supposedly taking the contacts that I have not received is making me think it’s because I’m black I would never go to them or give them my money which is sad the doctor is amazing!"
"Went to put on my glasses this morning, and the tiny screw holding the frame together came loose on the right-hand side. Nothing broke, quick fix at the Vision Center, no problem, right? Posted hours for the Vision Center online say Mon 9am - 8pm. Called and no one answered. They're just busy, I assume, but I need to get this done, so I drive over anyway. Posted hours ON THE DOOR also say Mon 9am - 8pm. Lights are out, no one is there. Customer service doesn't know anything about it. They try to get ahold of a manager or someone who can find out what's going on, and the manager says they'll call back upfront once they find out what's going on. 20 minutes go by. I had to take off from work to be there, and no one has heard anything yet. I don't have all morning to wait, so I leave. Although I've never had a major problem using Wal-Mart's Vision Center in the past, this is probably the last time I will ever go there for a new pair of glasses. If you are no longer open on Mondays, UPDATE YOUR POSTED HOURS!!! If there is some special one-time reason why you are closed, at least have someone put up a sign. Leaving your customers to stand around in the middle of a workday wondering what's going on is unacceptable. This is not how customers should be treated. The competition across town says they can take me as a walk-in during my lunch break and fix my glasses. I guess that's where I'll be going from now on?"
