"On Tuesday January 16, 2023 I called Mcgonigal Buick GMC due to having a check engine light that appeared on my dash. When I called to speak to the service department I spoke to a wonderful woman named Amy Cone who became my service advisor immediately. I was told I could bring my 2021 GMC Terrain into the express lane to have the codes read immediately. Once read, Amy immediately was able to diagnose the issue for a tech to be able to take care of it immediately the next morning. Once the tech was able to dig further into the issue with his excellent expertise. Unfortunately I made a mistake and left my window open during the snow storm that recently came through and snow got into my vehicle. Amy Cone took it upon herself to rectify my mistake and expertly cleaned out my vehicle and made sure that my seats were protected properly. In this moment, Amy Cone went above and beyond her line of duty to take care of me as a customer and made sure that I felt valued as a customer. Once the service was completed on my vehicle, I was not able to pick it up immediately so Amy Cone made sure to contact me and ask what I would like to have done with my vehicle. She was able to confirm that I would use my spare keys to enter my vehicle on the lot. Amy placed my car In a very secure and lit location and placed my invoice in my vehicle for me to be able to immediately see. The Service department, specifically Amy Cone, made me feel welcome and wanted as a customer from the second I walked in the door, kept in constant contact about my vehicle from the beginning and gave frequent updates on the status of my vehicle, and went above and beyond to make sure I was entirely satisfied with my service at Mcgonigal Buick GMC. Because of her amazing service I will be a lifetime loyal customer to Mcgonigal and highly recommend that other use this service and ask for Amy Cone to be their service advisor for life!"

"Let's start with buying a $5600 used car from them (yes, I know, buyer beware with used cars) and within 3 weeks McGonigal had to do $4500 worth of work to said vehicle. Here we are a few months later, brought one of our other vehicles in for an oil change and they cracked the filter housing. This place has gone SO FAR downhill since I worked there 4 years ago. I know there are more good experiences than bad or they wouldn't be in business, but they just lost 3 customers."

"I live about 45 minutes away from McGonigal and I typically buy cars in my own town due to service and maintenance. I bought a GMC Acadia which I love and the sales department was awesome to work with. My one concern was having to get the car serviced due to my job and needing a vehicle when my car needs repairs. I was assured this would not be a problem. They called me over a month ago stating that my parts were in for a recall. I told them I would need a loaner vehicle (they knew this when I bought the car). The person who called me, I reiterated that and she said she would call me. Now I'm close to needing an oil change and they STILL haven't called me back with an appointment. I feel as though I was told what they wanted me to hear so I would buy the car and now they are not interested in standing behind their word. Update: they called right after posting this review and went above and beyond to make this right. I believe in being human and we are all entitled to an oversight here and there. I am adding a star. I will update this the next time I need it serviced and hopefully increase it to a perfect rating."
