80th Avenue KinderCare

"My son has attended Kindercare 80th Avenue for 4 years and consistently had many problems. For starters, this school cannot accommodate any special needs or allergies. I have numerous occasions where my son was given the foods he is highly allergic too. The school consistently stated they would provide substitutions for foods if he was unable to eat but that would just be a pile of pineapples or green beans. Not an actual meal substitution. I ended up bringing my own food to solve for this issue in which they would forget to make him his lunch and again substitute with a pile of pretzels for lunch. Just recently my child was stung by a bee. I picked him up and his hand was red and he was crying. I was not given a call, a text and there was no accident report given to me that day. This happened at 11am that day. It was only when I complained, did they produced the proper accident documentation. We stayed at the school for as long as we did because we had a great teacher (Ms Michelle) along the way and my son had made some close friends. Overall I do not trust the center to be open and honest with parents. There have been mixed messaging around their covid rules and the directors are extremely unpleasant to engage with. Try a different Kindercare…. this one is not the one!"

"i absolutely LOVE this location. the staff is nice and professional. the classrooms are kept clean and organized. i was so afraid to put my baby in daycare because shes my first baby and u hear the horror stories but from Day 1 they have been awesome. they respond to text or messages promptly. they post pics of your child throughout the day so your mind is always at ease. my baby is learning so much. i mean i can go on and on lol. happy i chose this location."

"I love the center! My baby feels so comfortable with everyone. They care for each child as if they were their own. The staff always has a great communication with everyone on different policy updates, center changes, etc. Anytime I have a question or concern they are always quick with a response or solution."

"This school is amazing! My son comes back from school with so many stories and picks up on learning skills very fast. It feels great to know that you are leaving your child with women/staff who genuinely cares for your child/children’s especially when you can't be there."

"The staff at this school is amazing. They are very patience with the children. My daughter has been attending this school since June of 2018 and she has learned so much in such a short period of time. She is 3 years old and she knows, how to spell and write her name, she knows her phone number, address, birthday and so much more. She is even learning Spanish. Although it’s not the responsibility of the teachers, the staff at the school pretty much potty trained my daughter when I felt helpless during the process. This school has been a great help and I just love how I receive photos of my child during the day. I don’t know about most parents, but this just brings me so much joy and it helps me stay informed of which projects and assignments my daughter maybe working on. I just love everything about this school."
