"My two kiddos have been attending for awhile now and we love it here! The front staff have really became like family, they are so accommodating when our schedule changes which happens quite a bit. They also have gone above and beyond to let me be apart of the sessions whether through being in the room if it isn’t distracting my child or the observation room to help ease my anxiety while getting to know how the therapist interact with my child. They all really treated my children like family. I’ve seen such a difference in their speech and overall attitudes. They look forward to seeing their wonderful therapist every session. So thankful for this facility. I could go on but don’t wanna make the review too long."
"We came for an initial evaluation for my 4 year old son who has non-speaking autism. He had been without services because the clinic we had previously gone to, had gone out of network with our insurance. I was eager to get him in for therapy he desperately needs. My son does not have the cognitive ability to understand mask wearing or the pandemic- furthermore, due to sensory issues, he will not keep a mask on. When we arrived the OT greeted us with a mask and when I informed her he would not wear one and that we have tried and tried to get him to, she coldly inform me “Well. That’s the policy.” This person’s job is to help children who have difficulties with sensory/regulatory issues. I told her he would wear a face shield of that would suffice. She said it would not. Again, this person’s job is to help disabled children find useful accommodations when typical solutions don’t work for them. She agreed to evaluate my son, but informed me he would not be able to use the gym and that they would make one of his goals mask wearing. While I am not against mask policies, I think my son has far more important things to work on besides mask wearing. He should not be denied access to the clinic and care because of his disability and the accommodations he needs. An OT of ALL PEOPLE should understand this. I am giving 3 stars, because reluctantly after this evaluation we went to his speech eval. The SLP was fantastic. I apologized to her about about my son’s inability to wear a mask, and she calmly and politely explained that she understands and that she likes to use the gym and if we needed to use the it we could sign it out for the hour he was there for therapy. I’m not sure why the OT didn’t inform me of this option. I know there are medically fragile children that attend therapy everywhere, but my child deserves equal opportunity to therapy as well. We aren’t being defiant. This is a direct result of his disability. I know bigger policies are made and sometimes out of the hands of employees. But children like mine should be considered and equally cared for."
"This place is awesome except the front desk lady. I have no doubt about the professional service from this place. But this front desk lady truly is a flaw to this place. No matter you call or be there checking in, she is always showing her long face, except when she is talking someone over the phone. Many times she is either chewing something in her mouth or talking gossip with the colleagues, have the patients waiting for her done. After you checked in, she always looked at you white eye ball like why are you still here?? Go over there waiting for your turn. Don’t bother me more… No greetings, no courtesy, no manners."
"4 year old son has speech and occupational therapies at this location. Therapists are sweet, patient, and work w the children as human beings, not as some "second rate whatever". My son loves Paige and Stacy (his therapists) and as a mother, I appreciate/notice the genuine happiness from them when they see my child. I'm seeing marked improvements w my son and have been given much needed information on how to better help/work with him at home. Every child we see in clinic are all happy to be there...have yet to see one child argue or show displeasure at being at his/her therapy session. Should your child's needs bring you to this location, you will not be disappointed."
