"Wife and I have a friend living there, seems like a very nice place to live. Apr.2019"
"I have enjoyed living at Edsall House for the past several years. The staff work hard to build and maintain our community and grounds. Anytime something needs repaired, the staff (Bruce, Annie, and Bob) are johnny-on-the-spot to cheerfully fix what needs fixing. In the summer we have beautiful flowers and in the winter well-salted and cleared sidewalks and lots. The staff (Carla, Tasha, Kristina, and Karla) want to help, so if you have questions or suggestions, they welcome them. Edsall House is consistently conscientious and compassionate about others' limitations or disabilities, a safe place to call home."
"My grandmother has lived at this apartment community for over 15 years and she loves it. The maintenance staff makes timely repairs if needed. The 2 front office ladies really know how to throw a party for the people who live at Edsall House. I overheard a bunch of people from Edsall House saying how much they love the staff and it makes me feel like Grandma is in very good hands with them. I would recommend anyone to live here because you can tell the office staff cares which is not the normal standard these days. Top notch treatment and I give 5 stars because of it!"
"When I first went in to Edsall House I was made to feel welcome; I am disabled due to the limited range of motion associated with my back (post surgery). I was led to believe that I was eligible for an apt. We moved forward with the application process, which included a background check of past rentals. I knew I had it in the bag since I'm a great tenant; I've never had a bad word said about me nor the apartments I've rented. Fast forward, my acceptance letter arrived and boom!.....DENIED. I was in complete and utter shock; the office manager told me that a previous landlord said he would never rent to me again. This came at a surprise to me, the landlord in question never insinuated that he had a problem with me. After cleaning the apt, I received my deposit and moved on. Everything in the apt was clean before I left. As I said, I received my deposit in full. Had there been a problem one would imagine that the security deposit would have reflected it. Got my appeal put in never heard back from them so I called 2 months later; they said they sent my letter to me; I said no you didn't. They responded back saying "we will resend the letter;" the way in which they said it was nasty and in a very standoffish way. So I had my oldest son look into it for me. He called them and he said they were disrespectful to him too.He responded to me and said "mom u would not want to spend your money with a company that can't find room to respect you during the application process." I was/am heartbroken. To this day, I wonder why Edsall House only checked 1 apt. It would have made more sense to reach out to my current rental. I have been here for 2 years and going. I've never posted a review like this, but they made me feel bad, saying if they let me in,they would have to let everyone else in, what do they mean by that? If they disrespect people like this, one has to wonder if there's a flaw in their application process?? Disabled and still looking for a respectful place to stay."
"My very good friend lives at the the Edsall House and she has nothing but great things to say. Everytime I go visit everyone is so friendly and it always looks so pretty, clean and quiet. The courtyard is a hidden treasure when I like to go walking with my friend when I am there. They have 2 very nice young lady managers who are so cheerful. You can't beat the location being right downtown either. I hope to move in there soon to be close to my good friend."
