"I thank the Lord for Dr. Gladd. Since a young age, I battled sever stomach and intestinal issues. Traditional medicine and mainstream medical practitioners struggled to find the root cause of these pervasive issues. Into my adult years, I became very sick and was unable to eat or use the restroom normally. Tests, scans, treatment and medicine only compounded the ambiguity lying behind my symptoms. The entirety of my situation confounded the doctors I was seeing and never led to anything but misdiagnosis and medicine they made me all the more ill. But by God’s Providence I visited Dr. Gladd. He was the first doctor to spend time with me discussing these issues, and after years of being told it must be stress related or possibly in your head, he confirmed this was a gut and intestinal issue, a physical ailment that must be addressed. After various tests and digging deeply into root sources, he found the underlying causes to what I thought I’d have to live the rest of my life fighting. It’s been about 5 years since, and I have never felt better. The right doctor making the correct diagnosis, prescribing the right medicine, and helping to guide a diet suitable for my gut has led me to feel better than I ever have. I am thankful to Lord for Dr Gladd and I pray more people would be helped and blessed by him. Thankyou Dr. Gladd Sincerely, And for the Glory of Jesus Christ, Jake."
"Not only have I stopped taking thyroid medication, but I have also made lifestyle changes, which has had positive effects on other issues I was dealing with. We got to the roots of my issues, and in addition, I was able to make (relatively) easy changes in my life that allowed me to regain my health. My endocrinologist used tell me that I either had to have surgery or I was going to be on thyroid meds for the rest of my life. I love the holistic approach and the Eastern medicine knowledge along with the knowledge of Western medicine. I think some people think of herbs and essential oils when they think of integrative medicine - but that's not it (though I utilize both!). Integrative medicine is logical - it makes sense. The blood-work orders are costly, and the visits aren't cheap, but you're essentially paying to know what is really going on inside, and to change your life. I think it's worth it. I should also mention that I include Ayurveda in my daily life, and this also has played a pivotal role."
"I cannot express enough gratitude for Gladd MD. I was at the lowest point in my life, with my health, weight, and depression. in just one week of eating better my depression and anxiety were better. My mind was clearer, my face was clearer, and I began to feel amazing. Karen and Marina took this journey with me and it was so comforting to know I wasn't alone. I am currently off all my allergy meds and I no longer have problems with my asthma. I have lost almost 40 pounds and my family has joined in with me! I cannot wait to see what the next 4 months bring. Thank you GladdMd for giving me my life back!"
"I initially made an appointment with Dr. Gladd because I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism over 8 years ago and was constantly fatigued. My primary care doctor didn't believe how sick I felt because my thyroid levels were "in the optimal range." After meeting with Dr. Gladd and having comprehensive blood tests conducted, he diagnosed me with an autoimmune condition called Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, something that my primary care doctor had overlooked for the past 8 years. He also found that my inflammation levels were through the roof, and that I was deficient in Iron and Vitamin B. I even tested positive for antinuclear antibodies, which is a test used to screen for Lupus. If Dr. Gladd hadn't tested me for this, I could have faced a Lupus diagnosis later on in life. I was suffering from things that could have been prevented through my primary care doctor, but the system of conventional medicine had failed me. Even after finding that all of my health markers were out of range, I was relieved. Dr. Gladd was so understanding, focused on the positive and truly cared about helping me move toward optimal health. He ordered a food sensitivity test for me, prescribed supplements to improve my vitamin deficiencies and inflammation, and set me up with a health coach to discuss how specific changes in my diet would help me start feeling better ASAP. After 3 months, my inflammation went from being a major health risk for heart attack and stroke to being in the optimal range. I had reversed the antinuclear antibodies and decreased my chances of a lupus diagnosis. And I felt SO MUCH BETTER. I wasn't having massive headaches at work. I didn't have pain after eating. And I could get out of bed in the morning without feeling like I had been hit by a bus the night before. In just 3 months, my quality of life improved dramatically and I have Dr. Gladd to thank for that. If you want individualized 1:1 health care with a doctor who is personable, knowledgeable, and understanding, you need to become a patient of Dr. Gladd. He partners with you to work toward health, and everything is a conversation. He allows you to choose how you want to improve your health instead of just giving you orders. And he explains in detail how each approach will help you instead of just expecting you to blindly follow directions. His goal is to educate you as a patient so that you are the expert of your own health. I can't thank him enough for giving me the answers I needed, and for listening to me about my symptoms when no other doctor would. Because of Dr. Gladd, I can get out of bed in the morning, I have more energy to exercise and do the things I love, and I don't have to worry about being diagnosed with Lupus at 25 years old. If you are on the fence about becoming a patient of Dr. Gladd's, please do not hesitate any longer. One appointment with Dr. Gladd is 100x the value of a visit with your primary care doctor, and will help improve your health for years to come!!"
"I have suffered from a thyroid disease for 14 years. I have seen many doctors who told me my blood work was good and in a "normal" range. I often felt tired and depressed. I worked out consistently and watched my diet, but could not lose weight. After years of going to endocrinologists who were only concerned with my lab numbers, I met Dr. Gladd. After listening to me talk about my symptoms, he asked me to complete a full blood panel. When my results came in, he talked to me at length about how I could reverse the fatigue, depression, and weight gain. A year later, I feel happier, healthier, and have lost most of the weight I needed to lose. Dr. Gladd is the BEST physician I have ever been to. He views his patients as whole beings, not just lab numbers. He listens, he cares, and he is knowledgeable. I am grateful every day that I am his patient."
