"I’ve been here twice on an urgent care basis. Once for me, once for my teenager. On both occasions we were seen quickly and the doctor was very kind and thorough. I have zero complaints regarding either visit. I should mention, billing was not an issue either. I walked in with no appointment, presented insurance cards and there was no hassle, waiting or unexpected copays. That’s just my experience. Wanted to add my 2 cents. I don’t think the place is that bad. It’s really clean too!"

"New to the area I was trying to find my elderly mother a new Physician. I spoke to an employee at Patel Clinic who instructed me to gather my mothers insurance/medicaid info as they wanted to verify her bill-abiliy before seeing her. Then I was told I had to contact her insurance provider and switch her Primary Care Provider to Dr. Patel, which I did. Then, after all that, when I called to schedule an appointment for Mom, The employee informed me that we would have to pay $82 cash upfront for the first and second appointment. My mother has been seeing doctors on a regular basis for years and years and NEVER been asked to pay out of pocket for a routine visit. AND, the employee could have told us about the Co-Pay BEFORE we went to the trouble of switching primary care providers. It seems very clear that Patel Medical is more concerned with billing than patient care."

""Wish I could leave a 0 star rating. This is not an "urgent care" facility as they advertise! I was visiting the Falls of Rough for the weekend. Called first thing on Saturday morning to see if I could be treated for a common, but urgent condition. Gave them all my personal and insurance info and was told someone would verify my insurance and call me back to schedule. Didn't hear from them until Monday AFTER I had returned home. I was very clear about the fact that I was from out of town, explained what my condition was and asked to be treated that day. I work in a very large medical practice and know that it takes very little time to verify health insurance. They should have told me they wouldn't see me the same day, given me the option to self pay or told me where I COULD go to be treated that day! Instead, we had to cut our trip short and return to Louisville early the next day so I could be seen at an ACTUAL urgent care practice.""

"Went here on a Friday to get my hand looked out. Arrived an hour early because it was on the way home and there was not a single patient in the building or parking lot. Lady at the front counter seemed to have an issue that arrived early and didn't have a mask on. After waiting 45 minutes to see the doctor, was sent to the hospital for an x-ray. Have called every day this week checking on the status of my diagnosis, but they always act like they don't know who i am when I call and keep saying "we don't have your x-rays back and we'll call and check tomorrow on them." I can now see why their parking lot and facility is empty, do not go here even if you don't want to travel."

"The doctor was great and that’s the three stars. The receptionist, not so friendly and was unclear with her information. Told how much the copay would be and paid it and then checked the account and the amount was more. Once we called on the difference she said that’s not what she told us. Two people standing there heard the same thing that we heard. Not friendly service. Will probably drive the extra time to another location from now on."
