"I didn’t have a horrible experience WHILE I was there but it made me worse once I got out. I enjoyed the food. It’s not a helpful place and it costs thousands of dollars. I came back worse than I was. I spent very minimal time with doctors and no time with any therapist. It was basically just coloring with crayons 13 hours a day, it was relaxing but it didn’t make me any less suicidal. Some staff were better than others. Many showers are cold when we were allowed to shower, some days we would go the entire time with no hygiene. The place had bugs and was filthy. Laundry was rarely done so patients rarely had clean clothes. Beds are cold with thin towels as blankets. Patients started fights because they knew the staff would give them whatever they wanted if they were violent. Awful when it comes to dealing with physical health, not understanding, educated or accommodating on patients medical needs. They mixed up different patients allergies. Very understaffed too and just like the other reviews stated there are outlets everywhere. Definitely not worth the money."
"This place was disgusting. Not fit for suicicidal people there’s outlets in every room! There were a couple tech meme bees ruthie Chris James and Rachael g who made it somewhat bareable people were in there for suicide attempts and didn’t leave there room were out in 3 days while I had s/I and was in there for 7 they don’t do groups you get three if your lucky and that’s only when there’s certain tech members over there the nurses don’t check mouths they need retrained. Even a girl in pscosis the next day said they didn’t handle her right and they should have given her a shot they don’t know what the hell there doing . I wouldn’t take out my piercings and I was told I couldn’t leave the skin check room I wouldn’t get my meds or a bed in a freezing room in only scrubs luckily James and social worker natilie got me out of it she was using prison tactics while letting other people come in with all their piercings"
"They should be under investigation. Keeping people after the hold and telling the patients they aren’t getting out when it’s up. This of course is going to create a reaction out of anyone. They inject medicine with out a court order and without permission from the patient. They taunt patients to get reactions to use against them. They have such a high turnover that one can only assume they don’t actually care for the patients if they don’t even care about the job they are supposed to be working. They are rude to family and one nurse didn’t even know what an LAMA was. This place needs shut down."
"I came here when I was 14/15. It was an awful experience but it kind of changed my life. I guess things went downhill after Covid-19? Or were they always this bad? I remember feeling helpless, suicidal, dirty, and hungry. I was forced to take my finals when I should’ve been given time to heal and process. So mixed emotions for sure, especially when I voluntarily checked myself in and ended up staying 4 months longer than I intended because I was too shy to ask for what I needed."
"Wish i could be refunded. I was not happy with my time here. The staff was disrespectful of me, they are not at all LGBT friendly aside from a few very wonderful staff members. I would like to mention the bills that I received. Very high, in the thousands, and they did not help me. They simply put me on medication. I am still suicidal, and they helped to contribute to that thanks to the staff and doctor treatment. This is for the adult wing. As a child I went here as well and they actually did help, but if you are an adult they do nothing but charge you exorbitant fees. And don't agree to the outpatient therapy, it's overpriced too. Giving 2 stars for the fact that the food was at least decent. And a few staff members were actually respectful of me."
