"I heartily recommend Benchmark Physical Therapy for anyone who is in need of physical therapy. I went to Benchmark due to scoliosis-related neck and shoulder pain I’d been dealing with for over two years. I worked primarily with Gene, who quickly determined that my pain was largely a result of muscle imbalances in my body. My exercises focused on strengthening those weaker muscles. Gene was very professional and kind. I appreciated the fact that he was quick to adapt my exercises based on how I was feeling during any particular session. He listened to my issues and designed an excellent plan for dealing with my pain. He also explained what muscle each exercise was addressing; I never felt like I was doing an exercise just for the sake of doing it. Carrie was also very friendly and helpful with scheduling visits and dealing with insurance. After just ten visits, my pain has definitely been reduced. I am hopeful that the take-home exercises Gene provided will allow me to improve even further going forward. In conclusion, if you need physical therapy, or even if you’d tried it in the past and it didn’t work out, Benchmark is worth checking out."

I endured a horrific elbow/humerus fracture that left me with 4metal plates/20 screws. While Dr. Jang, at IU Methodist Sports Orthopedics, did a truly phenomenal job at my surgery…I was told the recovery would be intense. At Benchmark Physical Therapy…I found hope in healing. Gene spent many hours working on my arm, giving me different tools and ideas to build extension in my arm. When any insurance issues arose or appointments needed to be switched up, Carrie was on top of it and helpful throughout. Even when vacations came up, where dedicated staff would be out of the office, both Gene and Carrie ensured continuity of care remained the priority throughout my treatment. I’m not a newbie with needing physical therapy in my life…but I must say that Benchmark Physical Therapy is a cut above the rest.
