"I've been at this practice with Swathi for years. They don't treat symptoms, but get to the root causes of disease to work for healing. Excellent service and care."
"Everything about Be Well is great. The office is brand new and is so beautiful and clean. There is a spa, IV center, and teaching kitchen for classes (which are free for stay well members). The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Dr. Angela is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever met and truly takes the time to listen. She goes above and beyond to help get to the root cause of symptoms. The technicians in the lab are always very kind and take away the anxiety of blood draws. If you are looking for medical care that truly cares about you, Be Well is the place."
"My family of 4 (spouse + 2 children) were all patients at Be Well for the last 4-5 years and under the care of Emily Miller, NP, since 2020 but something has shifted and this place is now a total NIGHTMARE. As of February 2023, we have all left the office. The lack of customer service, professionalism, consistency and care is baffling and confusing. I would strongly advise that you ask MANY questions before becoming a patient at Be Well. For our family, the experiences has been heartbreaking. We had horrible experiences with doctors prior to joining Be Well and once we found them, it felt like we'd won the lottery so for them to suddenly seem to not care at all has been overwhelming to say the least. Care Review: Emily Miller, NP, has seen my family since 2020, we LOOOOOOVED Be Well and had recommended many strangers/friends/family. In February 2023, I was hoping to get refills during an upcoming 30 minute visit and we were notified of a (new to us) policy to require lab work every 6 months to get prescription refills (a $400-$500 expense given the cost of labs + $100 functional visit required to review the labs; not considering the cost of the meds). I was confused as this was never told to us in the 3 years we've been working with Emily nor were we doing labs under her care at that cadence and any labs being done were not impactful to the care plan for any of the prescription refills. I asked if I could speak with Emily or Swathi. That never happened but Jen Doss, the office manager, called me. She insisted Emily always worked like this and was very regimented (despite both my husband and I's contradicting charts). I have done every single test Be Well has asked of our entire family (thousands of $ in tests) but in February 2023, we were facing job/insurance/financial changes and rather than working with us, this was the time they raised this new "requirement." Jen said this was not a new policy but also not a documented policy and explained that this was functional medicine/the proactive approach however I've talked with many different functional medicine offices and providers since leaving Be Well and NO ONE is requiring labs at this frequently. I find it unethical to require labs without the intention of impacting the care plan, it puts undue stress on a system that's critical in the care of some. If all office's required this, it would cause this system to crumble. Despite that, if this is a requirement, patients should be made aware before they commit to seeing Emily Miller, not 3-4 years into her care and told via a message in the portal. I find it appalling that Emily couldn't even call me to discuss this (she was the doctor for all 4 members of my family). Billing Review: In December 2022 I received over $400 in invoices from visits in late 2021 and early 2022 (some over a year old). None of these had been run through our insurance, I immediately raised this to Be Well and have been working DILIGENTLY to try to resolve it with little to no help from Be Well. Fast forward, it's now late April 2023 and this issue is still NOT resolved and my insurance still has NO record of any claims (approved or denied) for any of these 3 visits. I have contacted Be Well multiple times, contacted their third party billing company (the office likes to blame this vendor despite the fact that THEY selected/hired them), had my insurance company call the Be Well office (who was told by Jen Doss, the office manager, that I had requested to pay cash which was NOT true), I have tried to reconcile myself but their systems/invoices make it impossible to reconcile as they all refer to the visits differently. Despite trying to for 5 months to reconcile, only ONE time has someone called me from the office (Amy) to try to resolve and following that call, information she provided that did not match what I had requested (proof of submitted claims). *Be Well - should any of these claims be confusing to you, I'd encourage you to check out the Patient Portal and the many different messages that validate all pieces of this review."
"I have been going to Be Well for several years now. The care has been incredible. I am in my late 50's and I'm proud to say that my last blood work came back pretty much perfect and my hormones are balanced. I have worked hard to get there - but they provided the pathway. My guess is the person that wrote "this place is a joke" just didn't want to do the hard work. Everything is a choice."
"I am a 37 year old male diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease 3 years ago. I have be to two Endocrinologists and a primary physician. After my first visit with Be Well I have never left a doctors office feeling better emotionally as I did here. They asked more questions than I had answers, which has never happened at previous offices, and I left feeling like they were going to help. They have a friendly staff, an amazing office, and a lot of knowledge. Give them a try, you deserve to truly BE WELL!"
