"I used to live in this aprtment and they charged me $950 for the bed bug heat treatment, while the cost of bed bug pesticide treatment by a local company is only about $300-600. That means they charge the tenants for the maintenance cost they are supposed to pay. I haven't seen/experienced/brought in any bed bugs. The connection between the apartment company and the pest control company is also very suspicious, because the apartment company is doing the pest control only with a SINGLE company located in Indy (why not Lafayette local company by the way?). I appealed to the court, but it didn't work as I signed on the pest control addendum when I moved in. It seems their business model is to collect money from tenants to pay for their skillful lawyers, please keep that in your mind. Just be ready to pay the extra money before signing the lease contract."
"They are NOT friendly, ESPECIALLY if you’re BLACK. I highly will NOT recommend. Someone broken into my apartment TWICE and the leasing office didn’t want to get involved nor moved me to a different building. I experienced black mold and after I signed my leased they try to changed the amount of my rent for a higher price. They’re so MONEY HUNGRY and don’t care about the tenants, residents or community. The entire leasing staff office needs to be RENEWED. My rate is ZERO stars."
"Fair warning this apartment complex is not friendly for parents with special needs children. If your ✨upstairs✨ neighbors have a problem with any noise your child makes within your apartment (even during normal waking hours) or on your patio.. they might complain and call the police on weekly basis.. and if you’re extra lucky they’ll even call DCS and leave you nasty notes outside your door. Luckily the police and Dcs in my situation were kind and understanding. You can inform the office of your situation and they say they understand but your words mean less than the one complaining.. even when they (the neighbors) chose to live in a community with people from all walks of life .. but expect silence at all times…Eventually you’ll be forced to try to protect yourself and your child but the corporate office won’t hesitate to reject your request for special accommodations afforded to individuals with disabilities .. without any real explanation.. perhaps just the “guess” from the property office manager that most likely your request was denied because your child is the minority and not the majority… and they have to worry about “fair housing act”which in other words they won’t say it but your disabled child is of less importance. Even though your child like mine may not have the same level of understanding that would allow them to self regulate etc. After all the stress and anxiety you experience you will have 30 days to pack up your life and find somewhere else to live. .. and while some people might suggest to not rent an apartment.. be aware and sensitive to the fact that some people aren’t in a current position to rent a private house (rent is typically in my experience and research higher in these situations or to buy a home. If you’re a person with no children this property was otherwise okay. Rent is a bit high for outdated apartments but maintenance was helpful. That’s the only reason I give it two stars."
"My son lived here about 2 years. It is nice enough - reasonably priced. The back of his apartment faced a pond and he had a little fenced in yard (first floor apartment). The apartments are in a sort of secluded area so it is a quiet place. Just be sure you pay your rent right on time."
"I love living here!! The staff is always so friendly and willing to help whenever you need it!! i feel like the staff in the office really cares if there is a problem and fix it right away. lived other places and i have to be honest this is my favorite apartment complex i have lived in. The pond is always full of ducks which they are so fun to watch. The inside of the apartments are so clean and they are huge!! I would highly recommend living here if you are looking for a new apartment, you wont regret it."
