About Us
PromptMed is a health institution located at 2502 25th Street in Columbus, Indiana, United States. Our urgent care walk-in clinic is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, Saturdays from 7am to 5pm, and Sundays from 7am to 5pm (closed on holidays). We also close at 5pm on the first Monday of each month for staff development.
At PromptMed, we accept unscheduled patients and offer services such as X-ray, laboratory services, and minor procedures like splinting and suturing. Our licensed providers can treat cuts, burns, sprains, fractures, as well as common ailments like sore throat, ear infections, and strep tests.
With our online tool "On My Way," you can check estimated wait times at our clinic and let us know when you will arrive. This tool integrates with MyChart to make the check-in and treatment process more efficient. You can save your spot in line and wait in the comfort of your home while we prepare to see you.
In addition to urgent care services, PromptMed also offers occupational health services to help injured employees recover and return to work quickly and safely. "Kelly the nurse practitioner was really rude. If you’re going to be a nurse practitioner how about being a little nicer? Especially to sick patients."
"Faster than the hospital and usually alot smoother. I went in for a spider bite on my foot that was really swollen. They took care of me and got me some meds that took the swelling down in a day or so. If I would have went to ER they would have taken my blood and stuck me with an IV. Was about a 45 min visit in and out and that set better with me than a hospital bill. Recommend this place if you aren't almost dead or non life threatening. If it's serious enough go to the emergency room."
"Always a great visit here!. I would highly recommend PromptMed Urgent Care in Columbus! I have taken our children to this facility numerous times over the past four years and the staff is friendly, caring, professional, and very knowledgeable. Even though we have booked appointments online, others with more acute medical issues can still be seen ahead of you- considering this, we are always in and out in less than 2 hours tops. A great alternative when your own doctor can not work you in for several weeks! Go with an expectation of no less than a two hour in and out time and anything less is perfect! Even our PCP takes at least two hours in and out. This staff is highly recommended- the providers are top notch!"
