"We’ve lived here almost 2 years and have had nothing but issues. Mold, no air conditioning for a month, clogged dryer vents, maintenance walking in without permission. The lady up front can’t do anything without “her boss” so she’s basically worthless. They’re more worried about fixing up the empty units so they can make more money than taking care of the residents they already have. Don’t waste your time!"
"If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. My rent was supposed to go up $42 my second year here, but due to covid, they said they wouldn't raise my rent and I signed my lease for the same amount I paid last year. That was 3 months ago. The first month I paid my rent, my online ledger was overcharged by $42. I called the main office and got no answer or response to the voicemail I left. (Typical for any time I've reached out to the office) I finally had to go to the office and wait until I saw the property manager going to her car. She told me she's busy and can't drop everything just because she thinks I might call her. She did fix the ledger and I paid my rent. Last month (the second month in my new lease) I was overcharged again. I paid the amount I owed according to my lease and left a voicemail to fix it. I haven't seen her on property to try to catch her in person. This month when I went online to pay my rent, the $42 overcharge from last month was forwarded and there was an additional overcharge of $42 for this month. I tired to pay the amount I should owe and the site will only accept payment if I pay the entire ledger balance and give them $84 that I don't owe them. Also, I had a storage unit that I signed and agreed to pay $25 a month on. I was continually charged $30. The property manager said $30 is the rate and she wrote in the wrong amount, but since the paper I signed in my lease said $25, she would credit my account ledger $60 for the overcharges for the year. I have reminded her of this several times and I have never seen the credit. I can never reach the property manager and she never returns my calls. When I call Herman & Kittle (the company that owns crosswinds) I'm only given the option to leave a voicemail and I never get a return call. I live here because of the affordability for the area I live in. If I could afford somewhere else, there's no way I would have renewed my lease."
"I went by the office and met the lady at the front desk. She gave me an application and I told her I was in a hurry to move in. She told me if I got everything together that night and dropped it back into her the next morning she would get it processed. I did my part! I got all my pay stubs and legal documents for myself and my daughter and my application fee. I had it all together and ready to go. I got to the office the next morning at 9 and she wasn't there. I waited in my car for an hour! I even left and came back and she never showed. Eventually maintenance man showed up and I asked him where the lady was and he told me she decided not to go to work that day! How incredibly rude! I will not move in there if that's how the management is going to run the office."
"I never leave reviews about places I go, but this one is a must! Honestly, I would give zero stars if I could! Just like everyone else, I can't get anyone to answer the phone, and there is no one at the office. I've left messages and emails, but STILL no response. I checked the Google reviews before I even attempted to contact them and at the time the most recent one was SEVERAL months ago. I figured maybe the management solved the issue. Nope! Still the same run around going on! It just shows how little the management must care about their residents! How does anyone even live there if there's no one to manage the office? Are they all just empty? What if I had an emergency and needed to contact the office? Do i just fix everything myself? At this point I don't care if I get to move in or not, I'm not stopping until I get to talk to someone and NOT and automated system! If you're in any kind of business, including property management, then you should know to answer your phone!"
"Have never lived here. However I've called many times over the last year and I've gone to their office a few times. Never been able to get ahold of anyone. Nobody is ever in office no matter the time I go. Nobody even answers the phone. I've left many messages. At this point I wouldn't live here if they paid me. If they can't even answer a phone call or call someone back then they aren't worth it."
