"I used Vanko as a Gyno as most females. I went in for my annual visit and she took it upon herself during that visit to discuss other issues. Which generated a bill that I should have never had to pay. INSURANCE FRAUD is what comes to mind. Annual visit and she decided to discuss other issues. That is ridiculous. She sent me to collections because I tried discussing the bill with her and she refused to change the coding. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. SHES IS A HORRIBLE DR. Told my pregnant friend there was no embryo and my friend left in tears... later to find out Dr Vanko didn't know what she was talking about. My friend told me about what happened to her and I was disgusted. Many horror stories from a few people I know that attempted to use her as a doctor..."

"Before seeing Dr. Vanko, I had a terrible experience with someone else. Another provider recommended Dr. Vanko. She told me that Dr. V is "stern but knows what she is doing." During my visit, she took the time to explain everything in detail, answer my questions thoroughly and provide adequate treatment. I have been having so much trouble with all of my insurance woes. Despite this, she has been patient and helpful getting approval for medications that would otherwise be rejected. I definitely appreciate the care she has given me and I will recommend her services to everyone."

"My last visit was the worst experience I ever had with any doctor. Dr. Mary Vanko was highly unprofessional and unethical. She yelled at her staff and me simply because I had valid concern of an issue she chose to ignore without any testing. She arrogantly and presumptuously stated that a test was too costly without knowing my finances or what insurance may have covered. She violated HIPPA laws by disclosing my personal medical info yelling out loud in the waiting area where there were other patients present. She talked negatively about my other doctor’s assigned treatments who has a different specialty than her own. The nerve! I will NEVER return for her services and advise anyone else to move along to someone else. I am! Update in response to doctor’s comment: This very well happened on 1/31/2022. The false response to my review further attests to the lack of integrity and poor service I’ve encountered with Dr. Mary Vanko. And there were several witnesses. No need to respond further. Acknowledge your shortcomings and grow from it."
