"I agree with reviews. Bernadette is surely the best part of this place; she is the only one with any level of customer service. The issue is, when she's absent, the treatment you receive is miles from acceptable and questionable, to say the least, toward people of darker skin tones. I had an experience there with Rachel (dark haired older lady) and a person I believed to be named Amber (chubby & taller) that I will never forget. I came in to get a quote on renewing my insurance and neither of them could do that. Rachel asked me to leave in a rude, flippant, manner after mumbling "we don't do those on weekends," and after I mentioned how rude she was, She replied with "that's fine. you can leave." To my surprise, the other, Amber, proceeded to stand up and help escort me out. WITH HER HANDS. The incident was so out of pocket, I called the police. After paying car insurance FAITHFULLY AND ON TIME FOR OVER TWO YEARS WITH THIS COMPANY, I was horrified. The owner, Doug, did call and apologize a short time later. However, the damage was already done. I would never suggest doing business with this company, especially if you are a minority, as it is clear that when certain people are absent, etiquette is thrown out of the window. My suggestion: pick another; you won't regret it later. I am now with State Farm."
