"It's not organized much but it's help that other places in town aren't willing to even pick up the phone and offer the help. It does take some time to get in. If you're serious about getting help, it doesn't hurt to try to. So far I'm impressed with how easy it is to talk to the therapist and also many options available for your needs, unlike other places in town. Not the worst, not the best. Just ok."
"The best time I've ever had with MH treatment. Very, very helpful, sweet, to the point during my stay. I love you he techs Noah and Neal. Leanne was very fast at helping with meds."
"My most vexing quandary related to mental health would be: why do we not hold the city liable for atrocities committed against the Indigent and homeless individuals? Do these crimes go unoticed?? Furthermore, since addiction is a mental health issue. that fact being given: should we not use less stigma when addressing these individuals? In fact; I feel, there might be discriminatory tactics being lobbied against many of these so labeled "junkies". These individuals are typically on they fringes of society typically go through life feeling ostrisized by society at large. This being a given fact: should we not treat them with dignity when we address them? Considering that addiction is a mental health condition, in which a person has long-term patterns of unstable or explosive emotions would be a short sited argument. I feel that: most addicted individuals expirience alienation; at large from society, is an understatement. Given this, we should favor treatment over incarceration. I feel this is indictive of our failing public mental health system. I feel like nothing but a number attached to a chart. As it seems now I have been misdiagnosed for over 15 years. I will not speak on how this has affected my life. This being stated: This is why I favor second options, and typically stray far from absolutes. Take the clinicians opinions with a grain of salt. The have never been where you have; but they will never be able to help if you do not open up."
"I have been needing mental health services and support and they have canceled on me and “rescheduled” repeatedly. It is too difficult to get help or an appointment. They don’t take their patients seriously. Avoid the Hamilton Center if you ACTUALLY care about getting proper treatment."
"This place is a joke. So unorganized. My son has been diagnosed schizophrenic. 35 yrs old. Hes been going there for years. They act like they don't know what's going on. My son needs help!!!!
