"I was referred to Dr. Sharma by my OB/GYN. You would think that on your 1st visit, you'd actually see the doctor NOT a NP. I believe every patient should see the DOCTOR 1st. There's already a huge amount of stress happening due to the possibility of being diagnosed with cancer. Besides that, staff was great."
"The mistreatment I experienced here by Dr. Shah is unforgivable. Please read this. My father and I were both diagnosed with cancer on the same day in 2022. I was referred to Northwest Cancer Centers, and my life was put in the hands of Dr. Shah. He performed a bone marrow biopsy on me the day after I became 24 years old. I was not given nearly enough local anesthesia to numb the pain. He did not test the area nor ask was I numb before starting the procedure. I had to experience excruciating pain yelling in agony for nearly 15 minutes due to Dr. Shah’s lack of care to numb me, when the pain should’ve be greatly reduced to a tolerable level. I will be 26 in 3 months. The pain in my hip never subsided. During my follow up visit Dr. Shah told me that my cancer isn’t serious, I don’t need chemo therapy, and I can be cancer free through light noninvasive treatments. He gave the same exact speech word for word to a senior citizen next door to me before I saw him. This didn’t sit right with me so I got a second and third opinion. Both of the other opinions stated that my cancer was in a bad stage and I do in fact need chemo therapy and radiation. This made since based off of how badly I feel every day and how bad my symptoms are to the point where I am not even able to work anymore. Months after my biopsy I saw Dr. Shah to tell him how badly my hip still hurts after the biopsy. It hurts while sitting, I can’t lay down on my right side, and I am unable to do even light exercise as it makes the pain increase. I never had any hip pain before the biopsy. Instead of listening to what I had to say, he rudely interrupted me many times and disregarded my complaint, and instead decided to boast about how many biopsies he’s given over the years, assuming I only wanted pain meds. Truthfully, I don’t like drugs of any kind I just want my hip to be healed. My dad has his biopsy elsewhere and was treated properly and didn’t experience much pain during either because he was handled with care. To be disrespected, disregarded, and mistreated by Dr. Shah while having to deal with the reality of having cancer is extremely disheartening because this is who my life was put in the hands of. Check all the other 1 star reviews, they have similar experiences with Dr. Shah. Ignore the automated responses because I have no reason to believe that anything is ever done by management when we are completely mistreated by Dr. Shah, as he has been allowed to do so for years. They claim patient experiences are taken very seriously, but there is ample prior to the contrary. Unfortunately I have not been able to fundraise money for my chemo therapy or radiation therapy as my insurance won’t cover it, so I am simply waiting to die. Meanwhile I get sent bills every two weeks by Northwest Cancer Center, as if my financial situation has changed. I just wanted to share my experience to advise everyone to steer clear of Dr. Shah before I pass away."
"Wonderful staff and doctors. Very friendly and supportive. Dr. Ramadas is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Appointment scheduling is very flexible and typical office wait time is very short. We couldn't be more pleased."
"I was diagnosed with throat cancer @ 50 yrs old in Oct. of 2020. I saw Dr. Shah and when asking about Naturopathic options, he looked me in the eye and told me, "You will die if you go that route." Three years later my tumor is the same size using minimal naturopathic options. Although I haven't found the exorborate money needed to wipe this out with naturopathic options yet, I would have appreciated a doctor that was humble enough to tell me that he either did not know about Naturopathic Oncology Clinics or haved looked into it. I will never forget the FEAR that was used to bend me to his will and I will never go back."
"I've been with Dr Shah for 9 months. He is a very caring and well- informed doctor. The whole staff is great and very good at what they do. The nurses that does the blood are great. and the nurses and back with the infusion lab are great. They have become another family to me. I regularly reccomend Northwest Cancer Centers to others."
