Reviews of Union Medical Group (UAP Clinic) Eye Center
"I went in there 2019-2020 ! Dr.Watts was very rude , told me there nothing he can do ! I do not ask , him to fix my eyes ! Dr. Watts was very rude, unprofessional and unpleasant! I will not go back there ? Get mad , because I posted this !"
"This review is for the Optical Shop. I recently had cataract surgery and was very pleased that it was so easy and painless, however, I did still need to wear glasses. Since Medicare covers part of the glasses after you have surgery, I decided to shop there. I found a very nice set of frames, the lady was very good at the fitting, so I waited the 2 wks. required for my glasses. I went to get my glasses, she handed me a card to read, (couldn't really read it) she said it will maybe take a bit to get used to, (no line bifocal) so ok. I did not wear them to drive home. I wore them as much a possible for about 10 days but it never got better. I called Monday of Thanksgiving week and was told (I felt a bit rudely, like she didn't have time for me)that I had until Weds. The bottom line to all this is that I took the glasses somewhere who actually used the vision ins. I pay for and had the lenses changed. The lenses did not match the Rx they had given me. I waited a couple of weeks to write this review because I usually don't write bad reviews, but after thinking on it a few weeks, I decided I needed to say something. Mistakes get made, that's ok, but acting like you are too busy to help a patient does not inspire confidence. Danon Diggs-Ream"
"I never leave reviews but these people are amazing ! I came into my appointment late by accident and I was still seen soon after arriving and everyone was so nice . They even still helped me with glasses and I was there for a completely unrelated issue . 5 stars all day everyday"
"My Dr., Dr. Watts, found that I had a stroke by giving me a very thorough eye exam. He did the test twice two weeks apart to be sure. He sent results to my GP, who followed up with a contrasting brain scan. Dr. Watts' findings were correct. I had a silent stroke. Even though I was on blood pressure and blood thinner meds, I am more vigilante in watching my blood pressure now."
"HORRIBLE PEOPLE! I need a new eye Dr. for post op day after cataract surgery & they REFUSED in hateful tone to "let me" go there. HUUUUUGE MISTAKE since both myself and my husband would have made them our new, much needed eye doctors."
