"I've only had great experiences at May Vet Northridge. After having to make the very difficult decision to put a pet down they made the whole experience as smooth as it could possibly be. Dr. Creamer was very informative and kind through out the whole process. I would definitely recommend May Vet."
"I can honestly say I think the veterinary care here is probably just fine and Camp May has some great facilities, but this may be the worst example of customer service of any vet (or business!) Ive ever been to in my life. We have been taking our dogs to doggy day care here for most of the last year because there simply isnt a viable alternative. And that brings me to the main issue: these folks have nothing to compel them to provide good service. The front office staff is run by a rude, condescending woman that expects you to work on her timetable and accommodate her. There's no semblance of a process, just a "this is how WE do it" mentality and daily routine. Often, customers are waiting in the lobby and eventually just walk out because no one greets them or helps them. Most time, the griping can be heard loud and clear thru the office area, but falls on dead ears. It's a medical place, but lacks any notion of triage or even a simple process of dealing with customers as they come in or check out. Try calling them and I guarantee what you'll hear is "Can you hold please" then a click as you're put on hold. While there simply to drop my dogs off and pick them up, I routinely wait 15 mins or more each time (Ive waited as long as 37 mins!) despite the fact that they have a drive-up to the doggy day care that, for whatever reason, isnt utilized. Everyone must go thru the front desk czar to check in and check out! It's as if theyre paying us! No attempt has been made (despite my suggestions) to work on a simple process that would handle in and out flow much better. Why? As I was told when I mentioned the issue "This is how we do it" with a sharp stare and a bit of a snarl. Well, it's no longer how we do it, as were discontinuing taking our dogs here and seriously considering opening a Dogtopia franchise just to do this right for the droves of others who have commiserated with us on this issue. We've talked to over 30 friends, neighbors and acquaintances who also no longer take their animals here for the exact same reasons. We consistently hear the likes of "Oh yeah, so you found out what it's like? Suffice to say we stopped going." Self-righteous inefficiency and refusal to care about customer service. Without competition, why would they?"
"Was very pleased. My Jack was glad to see me. I'm a customer and will use them again."
"Doctor May is wonderful! We've been going here for years and both my dogs love him and all of their friendly staff!"
"Our entire family have taken our dogs to Dr. May for at least 14 years. He is very thorough and caring."
