"I have arrived in ER for my daughter to be examined. Couldn't help but notice that one of the chairs had blood stains on the seat. It was reported to the front desk but all the time I was there the matter was not resolved. In addition a patient had vomited on the floor. Not only is those things unsettling but any bodily fluids has the potential to be bacteria laden and harmful Community East what a disappointment. Living up to the stereotype."
"Was checking in downstairs which made me a few minutes late because there were people before me checking in. I get to the fourth floor at 431 lady in the front with red hair turned me away. There should've been a 15 minute grace period. I wasn't that late and I've been waiting to see Dr. Benson for three weeks now. I called off of work twice to try to see her. I'm four months pregnant and walk to the hospital just to get to my appointment. This hospital is trash and don't care about pregnant women. She still wouldn't let me see my doctor even though I had concerns on my pregnancy. The nurse underneath Dr. Benson doesn't answer her phone either. There is no help I'll find another OB/GYN. Y'all have a high death rate anyways and don't want my baby being delivered here."
"I was tortured by definition "the action or practice of inflicting severe pain or suffering on someone as a punishment or in order to force them to do or say something" by the police in a hospital bed. One night of February of 2023 while having dinner and some drinks at home I had an allergic reaction to something. I called an ambulance because of having a difficult time breathing. At the hospital, the doctors tried to find out what was wrong to no avail. As I sat on the hospital bed with my shirt off, stabilized nonetheless, I was informed they were going to send me home, but because I had, had some drinks before calling the ambulance, because "its policy," I must take my pants off and put on a gown. They insisted no more tests were to be done. That I could simply put the gown on and immediately get dressed. I declined stating if its all the same I would rather just put my shirt on. They said I didn't have a choice. This is when everything became crazy. I told them it doesn't seem right for anyone to force me to undress and I wouldn't be doing it. They in response told me the hospital police (Community Hospital East Police of Indianapolis, Indiana) would make me. I was reluctant to comply despite being told this. The last thing I said while sitting down ona hospital bed was (while the police were outside of my hospital room) "Come on guys, you cant make me take my pants off. That's just wrong." As the police moved into the room (5-6 officers), the supervisor introduced himself as "lets get this over with. Close the curtains, close the curtains." For the next 10 minutes I was punched, choked, limbs twisted in ways they weren't suppose to go and even had metal objects put to my skin and pinched. Within the first minute they strapped me into the bed by each limb. At the time confused me because I thought how were they going to get my pants off. They had no intention of doing this. The next nine minutes were them torturing me, while four way strapped to a hospital bed, without saying anything. In fact, the next thing said after "close the curtains" was the supervisor again this time saying "Now, I am the supervisor, is there anything you want to tell me." Before I was screaming for them to stop and screaming for help. When he asked this I said "Yes, please stop. I will do whatever you want. Just please stop hurting me." All at once the officers stopped attacking me. I'm the kind of guy who has been on the board of directors of a non profit for children. I love God and Church. I manage tax accounts for a living. At the time of the incident I had a police supporter license plate on my car. I know that such story is farfetched. How could something like this happen "unprovoked?" As God as my witness, this story completely true. There was nothing left out. It is as crazy as it sounds. At my arms at my side the last thing I said was "Come on guys, you can't make me take my pants off. That is just wrong." To assist me in hiring an attorney: https://gofund.me/625ae531"
"I went in early in the morning after waking up with appendicitis and was very well taken care of the whole day, both in the ER and in the outpatient surgery center. Nursing staff was incredible and my doctor and anesthesiologist were both very communicative and clear."
"I am not usually one to complain, but they do not have any communication skills, nor do they care to help you find your loved one.. my mother had to have surgery, and for hours on end the hospital couldn't tell us where she was, even told us she wasn't there at all. What should have been a simple procedure ended up much much more. While awaiting the surgeon for over 12 hour, her appendix ruptured.. causing a 45 minute procedure to be 4 hr ours. And a lot more recovery time. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this place. The 1 star is for the very nice Police officer who actually gave us useful information. Sir, had the rest of these people had a fraction of your kindness and understanding, this place would rate much much more. Step it up people! Would you want your mother to go thru that? Treat every patient as if it were your mother father etc.. it'll definitely make a difference."
