"Really the worst hospital emergency room department ever, this morning I waited 5/6 hours name never called and this afternoon I went back 8/9 hours finally called . I remind you all my records are there and I’ve done multiple CT scans at this hospital for them to try and get mad cause I refused a CT scan the doctor refused to release me with any pain meds and he stated because I didn’t do a ct scan I then left do not go here"

"Starting in 2024 I changed insurances and now I can come back to see specialists in Northwestern. One major change I made was changing primary care doctors, I wanted a doctor at NW. I was in disbelief to find out how hard it was to get an appt with an Internal medicine doctor, with some, appts were 9 months to a year out. I was working with the customer call center on trying to find a doctor. There was nothing, then all of a sudden, she found me an appt with an Internist for Jan 15. These Internists work with the doctors and at the end of the appt the doctor will come in. I thought eventually I would get to transfer to that doctor permanently. My Internist is Dr. Tejasvi Peesay and the doctor is Dr. Jordana Friedman. Today I found out that’s not the case that I can make that change. Yesterday I get a message on Mychart from someone named “Tomorrow”. I had left a message asking for a Physical appt with Dr. Friedman. I was told I have to stay with Dr. Peesay. I had bloodwork taken and to this day Dr. Peesay has not called me about my results which I did see in Mychart. In my appt she said she would be calling me. Additionally, why these doctors are not in Mychart is ridiculous. I was told I have to call and leave a message with customer service if I want to contact the doctor. I am in disbelief and so disappointed about this whole experience, especially because it’s Northwestern."

"I am very frustrated how Dr. STRONG and his team don't care my mom condition. She has a month plus already with a severe hemorrhoid pain and they don't care, don't call since a week ago her results are on the portal. I tried many many times to contact them and no results, no calls and my mom continue with pain. I called several phone numbers, sent message through the portal and no answered. I thought this hospital is one of the best but I think I was wrong"

"THIS PLACE IS NASTY, full of homeless people, the staff are lazy, I saw male constantly leaving to outside to get on his phone, the SECURITY GUARDS WERE JUST WALKING AROUND SOCIALIZING, this place was like a homeless shelter and the wait time was horrible, I felt so uncomfortable, I can’t get the image of how nasty this place is… it’s filthy, I thought by it being downtown it would be clean and upscale… it’s horrible don’t go… it’s full of drug addicts using it as a place to sleep."

"A terrible institution of insanity and death! I was involuntarily hospitalized overnight. I was not allowed to call my family or the police. About 15 security guards and 10 medical staff held me down and forced me to take an injection into my leg. I will be contacting legal assistance and trying to pursue lawsuit. I highly recommend staying far away from this facility to anyone."
