"Just experienced August: Osage County at the Playhouse this afternoon. Excellent production, every actor in it was at the top of their game and the intensity level on a scale of 1 to 10 went to 50! I had seen many shows in the older location further west on US 32, the old church building. Great to see the Playhouse continuing in its new location. Looking forward to seeing many more shows in the new building!"

"The Basile Westfield Playhouse is small enough that I would describe it as intimate, but large enough that it should accommodate a variety of sets. Sound quality was superb for last night's performance, suggesting both good acoustics and amplification. As a senior with some hearing challenges, I appreciated hearing everything clearly. Intricate lighting effects were not necessary, but this new playhouse appears to have that covered too. The performance was really delightful, well enhanced by the facility."
