"I completed all my courses for my CCAF in 2015. I just got the proof that I actually completed all the courses for in and did indeed get my CCAF at the end of 2023. I'm now applying to colleges and my application is delayed due to transcript requests. I'm separating. My plan is to use my GI bill and go to school. Guess I'll have to be homeless until the transcripts go through and my application gets accepted."
"I completed everything required to receive my CCAF years ago and the AF decided they’d pull my career field’s degree program to reevaluate requirements due to a career merger. Fine. Years later and I’m a veteran without a CCAF despite checking in repeatedly over the years. It’s really unfortunate that there’s not even a clear indication of who we can talk to."
"TWO YEARS AGO I have completed my CCAF and still I have nothing to show for it. I’ve called numerous times, countless emails, and talked to numerous staff members that represent the CCAF. I have one credit left in my degree and I graduate and separate from the military next month. My education goals and accomplishments has been held back because of the CCAF and it has burnt me out to continue any more effort. The CCAF is the most useless, counterproductive, uncaring, and a slap in the face to what the Air Force actually stands for. This experience is just shameful. I URGE anyone to stay away from this."
"The situation that the USAF and CCAF have created for veterans is absolutely unacceptable. You are putting us in an impossible bind and messing with our real lives for “credits” that aren’t even helping those of us who didn’t pursue higher education related to our AFSCs. You all give us “college credits” for our BMT and tech school, which forces us to have to report these “credits” while we’re being considered for admission into real colleges and universities, and then you fail to actually deliver the transcripts in a timely manner. In addition to all of that, when this system fails, there is NO WAY to reach a human being for urgent assistance by phone, email, or any other contact form. I ordered transcripts on 11/15/2023 and they have yet to be delivered. I selected an electronic delivery, which is the simplest and fastest mode for all parties. The transcripts were due no later than 12/15/2023, and it’s now 12/18. The university I applied to is unhappy that the transcripts haven’t been delivered, and it may very well negatively impact my admissions decision if they are not delivered ASAP. I can see from other reviews here that I’m not alone."
"I requested my transcripts two months ago. I am supposed to be enrolled in classes next month. I have called 5 times, sent an email and still no response. A system upgrade shouldn’t put your customers in a bind, that is the definition of bad management!"
