"Received the wrong medication. Errors like this appear to be commonplace at the retail pharmacies. Check your prescription bottles before you pay. You may not be receiving the right medication."
"This pharmacy used to be a good place. I can no longer say that’s the case. They lied to me my insurance company and tried to put words in my mouth. I don’t like being lied to and disrespected. There is one guy that’s a pharmacist there he is the only person I trust that works there. The lady that’s a pharmacist is the one that needs training in customer service. Stay away from this pharmacy they hold you hostage with your medication. They should be prosecuted for the way they treat their customers."
"I have been taking the same medication for 7 to 8 years now. I always call the day before or two days before my fill date to make sure they have my brand of medication. Sometimes it has to be ordered and going days without it makes me ill. I have had to wait two days past the last date with this pharmacy before because he assumed I had plenty in my bottle. I am always told they have it and they check my date of last fill and tell me they can have that for me in a couple hours but recently a male tech gives me a call back to tell me he has plenty of my medication in stock but he wont be filling it until Sunday. Usually in a rude way like he says it with a smile. The females never do that to me they treat me what seems equally without judgement but the guy they have has fun telling me he has it but he's going to hold onto it for a few more days. I know he is stereotyping me because of my medication. I wish they would do something about him because I only fill them as soon as I can hoping I don't have to wait due to them not having it before I'd runout. so it's more of a prevention plan verses I'm trying to stock pile or something. But his customer service is horrible and he should be reminded people take medication day to day. It would be completely different if I had a week's worth but he worries about 1 extra day."
"I just moved to Indiana two months ago and do not have a Primary Care physician as of now. During the interim, I decided to use a credible digital health company for my medication which is categorized as a Controlled Substance. Last month, I had my first prescription processed at Meijer Pharmacy without any issues. Yesterday, I called to have my second prescription filled and the gentleman on the phone said it would be ready in about 40 mins. I was unable to pick it up until the following day (today) and when I went to the counter and gave the girl my information she advised me they couldn’t fill the prescription because it’s their “policy” that prescriptions for Controlled Substances cannot be filled if called in by a TeleHealth doctor. When I told her that it was filled last month she replied that it was a mistake and shouldn’t have been filled. When I asked why no called me she said they did. I had no missed calls and no voicemails. I walked away to collect myself before returning and asking for the Regional President’s email and/or phone number. When I came back and asked the same girl for the info she said she would give it to me, walked away, and came back to tell me the Pharmacist would speak to me. After waiting a couple of minutes the Pharmacist asked about me wanting to speak with her. I said I wanted the Regional President’s, or whomever is equivalent, information because I am extremely disappointed in the way this was handled. I kept hearing about the policy which is NOT why I’m upset. I’m upset because this pharmacy had three opportunities to let me know they could not fill my prescription prior to me showing up today. One: when I picked it up the first time, Two: when I called to have it refilled the day before, Three: a call back immediately by a human after I called the day prior to have it filled. (I’ll add here that the Pharmacist also advised me they called me the day before and when I told her I had no missed calls or voicemails, she said it was an automated system that makes the call) At no point did ANYONE take responsibility for the poor handling of the situation and kept falling back on the policy. Again, I don’t care about the policy…a policy is a policy and with a controlled substance I understand the policy. What I don’t understand is ZERO empathy, ZERO accountability, and no solution to assist me outside of “Do you have a Primary Car doctor who can prescribe it?” Then when I asked again for the Regional President’s info, the pharmacist walked away and when she came back said her Team Leader is the one that handles complaints and will be here tomorrow if I wanted to come and talk to them. So now it’s clear she isn’t even listening to me because I told her I was going out of town tomorrow. I’ve been taking this medication for a majority of my life and one to two days without it isn’t awful but it isn’t easy, but to go potentially three, four, or five days without it can be a serious problem. Shame on you Meijer Pharmacy for not focusing on the customer, not being proactive, and not taking the health of your customers seriously."
"TERRIBLE customer service. I am trying to switch pharmacies/transfer my medicine over to this pharmacy because it is the closest one since I can't use CVS anymore and I was waiting on hold (no one answering) for 15 minutes. Just goes to show what I would've been dealing with! I am now more willing to drive 4 miles longer to the nearest Walgreens."
