"Awesome building and great staff. The breakfast, teas, and snacks offered were amazing. Don't let the other reviews about noisy neighbors dissuade you from booking here; it's a college town! Will definitely be staying when we're back in Bloomington."

"Overall good experience. Staff was great. The breakfast was good. After the wanna-be frat house across the street turned off their music, it was pretty peaceful. Towels were nice. Some cons: no way to control temperature of your room. The heat was set too high for our liking, so we were able to open windows to be more comfortable, but that could be a bigger issue in summer. The floors were very creaky. The TV in the room was tiny/old."

"Surprised to not have microwave in room. Had to go across the street to main office and go to basement kitchen. Weird, IMO. We could easily hear neighbors in the bathroom. That needs to be changed. Otherwise, we liked it. Bedding was nice. Shower was nice."

"We have never been here before. We are very surprised to say that we enjoyed visiting here! The breakfast was always hot and delicious!!! No powdered eggs here. Real eggs real homemade from scratch baked eggs in a croissant!!! My favorite and roasted red potatoes with purnell' s Link sausage. They also had lots of fresh fruit, Bagels, assortment of fresh bread, blueberry cobbler, lemon cake & pumpkin cake. Pumpkin granola another favorite & yogurt s. Very impressive and very very good!!!! I highly recommend this b& b to anyone staying in Bloomington Indiana."

"I was very excited to stay at the Grant Street Inn given its central location and positive reviews, along with personal recommendations from family. On a trip with my girlfriend two weeks ago, we arrived to a completely filthy room (sheets had not been changed - blood droplets on the comforter, ripped pillow, staining, and hairs). Upon bringing this up to the front desk, they apologized and changed our sheets. Fine. The following morning we prepared to shower, only to find a shower full of hair and dirt. Upon checking out, I was told that "I should have been moved to a different room", which was never offered to me. I was also given no discount or resolution, hardly any customer service whatsoever. I tried calling the manager to a full voicemail box. Avoid staying here if you can. There are plenty of other hotels in Bloomington that will satisfy your needs. Let Grant Street Inn gets its "ish" together... might take a while."
