"Right on the river! The primitive camping is awesome. Quiet & each primitive site is on the river. I took kayaks up the river and floated back to the campground - it was perfect."

"Was a permanent camper for 5 years and was great and didn't plan on leaving till the new owners took over in 2022. Yearly(April to October)rent went from 1750 to 5000 for a river spot. Didn't say nothing to us about raising prices till the final week of the season. Pulled the camper out( which many did too) and won't be back with those prices. It's a campground, not a yacht club."

"We really enjoyed spending labor day weekend here! Everyone was super friendly and made us feel very welcome! We had a spot right on the beach which our kids enjoyed a lot. The only thing I would complain about is it is pretty expensive for a dirt spot but the spot was level so it wasn't a big deal! We will definitely be back!"

"We booked two nights I spoke with the owner who was very nice at least four times before we arrived and was never told that the water at the sites should not be drunk due to high nitrates until we had arrived. Firewood was 25.00 a wheel barrow unfortunately it was all wet and would not light. The site itself was very pretty however the bathrooms were pretty gross with the sink being outside and no soap provided to wash hands. The playground is a joke unless u have toddlers nothing for older children. Quiet hours are another joke. Fireworks and people screaming until almost 4am. We only stayed one night even though we booked two. I would not recommend this place to anyone else and definitely will not be returning."
