"I had been experiencing abdominal pain for over a year so my primary care doctor provided me with a referral for an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Because I was given a referral, I had to wait over 4 months for a consultation with a GI doctor. The practice would not let me schedule neither one of the procedures even tho I was at the age where I should be getting colonoscopies. My appointment with the GI doctor was less than 10 minutes and she didn't believe my condition was serious and recommended I take miralax on a daily basis. She agreed to do the colonoscopy because of my age; however, I would have to wait another 4 months for an available appointment. Since this doctor refused to figure out the root cause for my pain and since the wait time to get a routine procedure was long, I went elsewhere. I would not recommend NMH GI Center."
