"Dr. Whitaker set my health back SO MUCH. She never listened to me when I told her my every day health had changed. She prescribed me meds I didn't need that made things worse. She had me come in multiple times to do testing only to then refer me off after I had lost my job due to the illness I was desperately looking for help with. Even when referring me she basically told me the specialist wouldn't help me either. If you want a doctor that listens she is not it."

"Many people are delighted w her care as a physician, as was my fiancé. She orders testing & is thorough in that regard. I was in a severe auto accident & had unexplained health issues so my fiancé requested I transition to her. This was not my idea nor did I expect “special” treatment. Immediately she let me know she had to spend extra time reviewing my chart as though it was an imposition. The 2nd appointment was supposed to be in person, but was moved to a phone call, in which it was over 2 hrs later. She cut me off, did not allow questions, & was highly unprofessional. So much so, I was shocked- in tears. Disappointing.. She seems so full of herself to a point in which she cannot see the patient right in front of her. (Just how I inferred the exchange) Even for her established patients, she has a nurse practitioner see them even on their annual. I am a nurse & social worker & have great conviction there IS a reverence & responsibility to administering care. All people are worthy of the same quality. You don’t pick & choose who’s worthy of good graces. Good day, bad day- you clock in & do not snap at clients/ patients. There’s an oath! Her bedside manner will depend on her mood & personal (not professional) opinion of the individual. She has capability of high quality care & I’ll afford her the benefit of the doubt that she just did not want an extra load of me as a complicated patient. Poor experience"

"Dr. Whitaker is great! She is very thorough, looking at everything about your health. When you bring up something to her, she looks deep into it to ensure everything is covered and examined and explains her findings to where you can understand them. I wouldn’t trade her for the world!"
