"I have an old plaster statue of a young shepherd girl that my Dad bought at an antique auction in the 1940's. I treasure her. She got knocked over and literally broken in half at the legs (along with my heart). And she had already suffered many chips over the years. I called Brett Swiatek because their work was so beautiful on the website. I got her back today. Stacey Swiatek restored her and I never remember her looking so "Alive". I literally cannot see any lines where she was put back together. The "touch-up" painting is flawless and Stacey coated her with a light glaze that brings out every fold in her peasant dress. "St Mary's RC church in Holley, NY contracted with Swiatek Studios to recondition, paint and decorate the interior space of the 1905 Medina Sandstone Gothic Church. The entire team worked diligently to maintain budget and schedule for our project. Most impressive are the creative talents possessed by Brett and Stacey. Using the original Frohe stained glass as an inspiration, they developed a color palette and decoration style for the project. The space, previously largely monochromatic was transformed into a living Church reawakened through the use of harmonic colors and accents of gold leaf. Attention is focused to the Apse through the insertion of a beautiful 15th century style crucifixion scene in the triptych.
