"Cute place to visit with lots of fun little touristy things to do around it"
"We drove by to see check out the small town and the landmark “lighthouse”. We believe this is a replica of the original. There not much happening in November."
"This cute little lighthouse in the middle of Olcott was built in 2003 and is a replica of the original lighthouse, erected in 1873. The property is open 24/7 and I imagine on a nice day you can see a lovely sunrise from there. The original lighthouse was at the end of a pier, where 18 mile creek empties into Lake Ontario."
"Such a fun place to visit and enjoy the lake Ontario view. Usually it's unlocked with local area travel and activity information (newfane/Burt/Olcott/Wilson) but today it was closed. The mini lighthouse next to the actual one is a cigarette disposal so be aware as it's a fun attraction for the little ones!! Very close to the boardwalk shops with snacks and shopping right there. Great place to hang out for a few minutes and admire the surroundings. There is a water spicket and bowl for dogs as well."
"Great relaxing place with little gift shops and local touches. People were mostly very friendly in this town. Good getaway for couples. Can't really play in the water. No beach except rocky ones to the side. Water is cold."
