"Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are what you’d expect. Close to everything downtown. I’ve stayed in about 50 Hamptons and this one is really nice. Only two drawbacks is parking and traffic. They have you park at a local garage and it’s $1/ hr and maxes out at $8. You can wait till 5 pm and there is a lot of street parking available. This was also the middle of winter so the summer may be different. Second drawback is a lot of heavy footed people with loud cars going between the buildings. The echo is very pronounced. If you can, stay on the baseball field side of the hotel. Would stay here again."

Last minute decision to come Christmas Day and very close to daughter’s house. Looks like a fun place for summer and baseball season. We could see into the ballpark from our 4th floor room."

"The Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Wayne Downtown is a great place to stay. The entire hotel looks practically brand new (or at least very recently completely refurbished). Each of the staff members that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The lobby is spacious and welcoming. Breakfast is well presented, and typical of a Hampton Inn - very clean and enough selections to have something different each day if you like. The rooms are large and well appointed, each well designed with plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable. The fitness center is large and one of the best that I've seen in a Hampton Inn. The one downside is that you'll pay for parking in a garage next to it - but that's the price of staying downtown I suppose. It's very conveniently located right next to the baseball stadium and the Embassy Theater. There's also a place on the first floor to eat (that serves alcohol), as well as their rooftop bar that serves food too. I'd highly recommend this place if you're in need of a hotel in Fort Wayne."
