"Our son has been going here for almost 4 years, and while there has been staff turnover, no childcare facility is immune from that. We feel like we get one of the best rates in the Indy area for everything they provide, and our son is more than prepared for kindergarten this fall from everything he’s learned."
"The so called Director was very disrespectful to me. She needs to learn how to talk to people respectfully. As far as I know, she is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Don't take your kids there if you don't want to be disrespected"
"Wish i could rate this zero stars…my child is 1 yr old but was 3 months premature. Her 1st week there she was forced to stay in a crib and slammed on the floor by Shelbie, she came home with bite marks and severe redness and swelling on her bottom and privates, they would state in sprout about she was eating and then telling grandma at pick up she didnt eat. I expressed my concerns she was moved to another room where today I watched a teacher physical hold her down in a crib for atleast 30 mins and called twice to have the issue resolved and no one answered. I went and picked my child up and called cps there are a handful of staff who were amazing with my child but the ones who neglected and abused here made it bad for everyone. Please do not send your children here $318 a week for my child to be treated like that is unacceptable."
"Since my LO started 8 non consecutive days ago I have brought to you my concerns that he was having diapers put on him although I provided pull ups. He was being given someone else’s blanket for nap time. The teachers were not communicating with me through the SproutAbout app although I sent countless messages. He was being moved classroom without being checked in and out and I could not see him via the app. My concerns were not being addressed, after talking to the director Katie on multiple occasions in the first few days. During the incident last week where my LO pulled a fire alarm that is in his height reach, your assistant director stated on his fifth non consecutive day that he was not adjusting and that he was not listening to direction. He would need to be picked up. When pressed about what wasn’t he listening to she could not give me a valid explanation accept that he didn’t go use the restroom when told to do so-As we spoke about he is potty training and need prompting, it is not mandatory for him to use the restroom. In that same sentence she stated he wouldn’t eat lunch, eating is not mandatory and per our conversation sitting at the table if not eating is not mandatory either. She went on to say he is throwing toys. She treated my child like he was an unruly kid although she acknowledged this was his first time in school. After meeting with the director last week you stated you are working to align you and your assistant director facility structure. With that I wanted to give you an opportunity to fix my concerns so we can partner to ensure my LO transitions well. Today I get a call from my honey stating that my LO ran out of the back door twice which is unlocked and he was being asked to be picked up for the second time in 8 days. The first day I dropped my LO off I witnessed an older child choke a preschooler and he was permitted to stay in school. I don’t understand why my child is being treated as if he is an unruly child. When his father informed them he couldn’t come until 12:30p you all threatened to call the authorities! For what? We both work, he was coming to get him why would you call the authorities? We were coming but live quite a ways away! When I called to confirm that statement was in fact made I was mortified. I see now this is not a good fit. I spoke to Robin and the admin and she said based on my wishes-today is effectively his last day. You have not upheld your end of the contract and it is extremely disappointing. The way we have been treated here is disgusting. I acknowledge that my 3 year old may have threw toys or a tantrum but it was common knowledge that this was his first time in school. He did not deserve the way they responded to him. He uses sign language as his primary communication and I saw on the camera often children being ignored. He was there 8 days and never received a cubby. His belongings were misplaced on two occasions. I am paying $180 for 3 days a week but you continued to ask me to pick him up when he was not misbehaving. Those child preventative measures should have been in place, not waiting until it happen to do something. The facility was on the surface clean but the quality of care was severely lacking. There was no follow up or consistency. It was not a good it for our little one. The director did not return my call but sent me an email never denying the lack of care but agreeing my child being there is not a good fit. I called her to discuss where in the handbook does it say that authorities will be called if you can not come right away. I informed her I was out of state on a business trip. He was picked up today and had a busted lip, one teacher said he fell and the other said it was chapped lips. I know what chapped lips look like! Once again inconsistencies and no follow up."
