AMC CLASSIC Jefferson Point 18

"Spent over $60 for my family to have popcorn and drinks. Popcorn wasn't fresh and it was cold. All 3 butter containers were empty. No lids for drinks available on one side, no napkins on the other side. By the time we were done going back and forth between the 2 stations getting what we needed, the movie already started. Not a good way to spend over $100 between movie and snacks!"

"I understand that you may be understaffed, but why are there never any blue raspberry slushees? Also, the seats in the theaters and tile floors are sticky. There’s always some kind of mess around. Please clean better"

"Movie time was 12;15. Got about half way through the opening trailers and manager came in to say that the theater wouldn't play the movie and once the trailers were over, we should go next door to watch movie in other theater. We did. Well the other theater was still playing a movie so we stood outside of it for at least 20ish minutes before we could go in. Once inside, around 1, the movie started playing, but the sound was from commercials. Oh and the theater smelled like literal farts/poop, just horrible. I went to tell manager about the smell and movie. Nothing they could do about the smell so I propped the door open with trash can. Many others had left theater in search of manager also. They ended up asking for refunds and leaving. Movie finally started to play. Fast forward to about 30 or so minutes left in the movie, at a crucial part, of course, and the movie shuts off, lights come on, and commercials starts playing. Out to search for manager again. Movie starts to play again and gets almost to the very end and screen goes black, but you can still hear sound. We listen trying to grasp the ending of the movie, but couldn't tell when it ended and credits began because we couldn't see. At this time we were the only ones left. Everyone else gave up and left. Which I wanted to do also, but the person I was with talked me into staying. As we walked out of theater there was a staff member waiting to clean and came in and said wow, it's dark in here. I told her that the screen went dark and she said oh wow and handed each of us a free movie pass to come back. The whole place was very run down also. The whole experience was disappointing. We didn't leave the theater until almost 5 pm. Almost 5 hours, just to see a movie!! Insane. The person who sold us our snacks was great and very helpful. That was the only upside to this adventure."

"This movie theater is definitely showing it's age. I remember when it first opened as the Rave, and even the lobby was an experience to go to. The lobby Light shows and speaker systems are now inoperative as well as the bill boards to tell you which theater room to go to. The seating is comfortable stadium style. The popcorn is tasty and reasonably priced, for a movie theater, providing you get the app and membership. Drinks are self-serve with free refills."

"There's not much to review but EXCELLENT. What every American loves about the movie going, popcorn popping, and movie watching experience should be! Clean bathrooms, well lit and staff out of the world fast, smart and knowledgeable! Almost in tears. Wish my hotel (Comfort) was ran this smooth. The self-service area is unprecedented. Loved it! And my family is a Cinemark favorite. Salute to AMC JP! We will always watch a movie here. No competition! None!"
