MISSION BBQ
About the Business
MISSION BBQ is a patriotic and community-focused restaurant located at 5230 North Main Street in Mishawaka, Indiana. Our mission is to serve the most authentic, mouth-watering all-American food for those who protect and serve our country and communities. From our young men and women in uniform to veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders, we have a deep respect for those who make our country a better place.
Since opening our doors in 2011, we have donated over $25,000,000 to vital charities and have been involved in various fundraisers and service projects to give back to those who serve. Our General Manager in Robinson, PA, Jimi, is known for prioritizing the needs of his teammates above his own, showing true leadership and humility.
At MISSION BBQ, we honor the sacrifices of individuals like Tom Glenn, who was on the last helicopter to leave Saigon during Operation Frequent Wind in 1975. We are dedicated to serving delicious food while also giving back to those who serve our country and communities.

"The quality of food is consistent and delicious. The workers at this location has got to be some of the nicest people I have ever encountered in the food industry. The service alone keeps me coming back."
"The food here is DELICIOUS. The sauce, delicious. I had the brisket sandwich. It didn't look like a lot, but I wasn't able to finish my meal. I noticed thst they weigh the meats, which is nice. I ordered the brisket sandwich, lean, potato salad, and banana pudding. Everything was very flavorful. The potato salad had just a tiny bit of heat that you felt at the back of your tongue as an after taste. The potatoes were firm, not too hard, not mushy. It was really nice. The staff came buy checking on us. It was also nice to see the pictures of the different service men and women on the walls."
"Friendly staff ... upon your first visit they will come around and explain the menu to you ...plus you get a free dessert (only on first visit) I myself got the pulled pork sandwich and two sides. They are big supporters of our military and emergency service providers. Have a nice selection of sauces on the tables to choose from to put on your food."
"From the voice on the phone taking orders to the person walking around picking up... All have a friendly, helpful attitude... The overall experience is "Service" themed, Armed Forces, Police, Fire, Rescue, all recognized as far as I could see!! We ordered "Pulled Pork" the day before as take out for our family dinner (with a sampling of all the BBQ sauces...) and EVERYONE loved it!! Five-star rating from 70+ to 1+ year old in attendance... And the mixture of sauce to sample was wonderful! On the way out of town we had to stop by again for lunch and wasn't disappointed! I ordered the "Smoked Prime Rib" with fries and corn bread (which is on the sweet side...)! She got the "Sliced Brisket (moist...)" with Mac & Cheese and corn bread!! We both picked out one of the "Organic Flavored" bottled sodas in the iced tray before ordering. We finished off the meal with the "Caramel Coated Bread Pudding" dessert, which was to die for, delicious in the least!!! All was great tasting, really how many Prime Ribs can you cut and eat with a plastic knife & fork??? The brisket was melt in your mouth as well as the pulled pork!!! If you haven't been here, you are missing out!!! Highly recommended!!!"
