Reviews of Trenton Battle Monument
"The Battle of Trenton. Legendary spot right here. Take a moment to look around you and be aware of your history and your surroundings. Take care of this place if you can."
"Good historic place but the downtown is so rundown that it was a disappointment. A capital city should not have roads, Streets like that. A better cleaning, but more planting and upkeep will go a long way."
"This monument is a towering memorial to George Washington and his army for his stunning victories over the Hessians and British army at the Battles for Trenton. It can be seen from several blocks away from the center of this city. There are several benches to rest and reflect about the Colonial army's victories here. It is also the commencement point of the Battle of Trenton re-enactment on 12/30/2023. A great historical and hallowed ground in American history. Well worth a visit here in Trenton."
"Should be better maintained. Lots of trash and very dirty."
"Great statue but the interior museum is closed to the public because the elevator is over 100 years old and unsafe. Would cost a fortune to repair and the city of Trenton is strapped for cash. The granite monument is beautiful and worth a visit during the day or during a special event. It's not terribly safe for tourists at nighttime."
