GQT Eastside 10 IMAX

"This is my favorite movie theater and I would choose it over any other. I have always had a great experience here and I love it, however recently I had a rough encounter with some employees that left me upset. I attended a late night movie and about half way through my friend and I left so she could use the restroom and I could get a refill. I waited for her at the counter while she went into the restroom area. On her way, she overheard a worker say “you’re not getting a f-ing refill right now we are in the middle of closing”. I did not her the worker say this and even though three workers saw me standing at the counter, no one came to help me. It was 11pm at this point so I understand that they were wanting to get closed up quickly so they could go home, but I was in no way being rude to these workers (other than staring at them to see if they would come over) and I was willing to pay for a refill. After my friend got out of the restroom she came and told me what the worker said. I was pretty disappointed hearing that they said this and at that point not a single person came to help me after I stood there for two minutes, so I walked over to the trash can and threw away my empty cup. As I said before, I understand that they were trying to close, but we still had another 50 minutes left of the movie and there were other movies playing at that time as well, so needless to say I really wanted the refill and it’s not like they were getting out of there anytime soon. Not to make a big fuss over a 12 oz soda, but I was more disappointed at the workers words and actions towards me when I did nothing wrong. People should really try to understand that a little bit of kindness goes a long way. It would be great if I could get a refund for my drink, but I would understand if that is a long shot"

"Went to the theater tonight for the first time in months. Saw a film in theater 9. The sound only came from the front speakers making it incredibly difficult to hear. I went to the front desk and spoke to two female members of management and asked for them to fix it. They stated they knew about the problem but couldn't increase the volume for fear of blowing the other speakers...and the theater was "old".... Goodrich 10 was just remodeled less than a decade ago and I find it hard to believe that the speakers are trashed in that time. Regardless - if you know a theater is not working properly, don't use it until its fixed. Wasted money on tickets when I could have stayed home and had the same sound quality...."

"This place is super reliable for watching movies in the area of West Lafayette and Lafayette cities, Indiana. Being the only Imax screen in the two cities, they have not compromised on the quality of the picture and sound. The iMac theatre is spacious, and clean and comes with comfy seats. Also have a bigger concession stand with multiple counters, so you don't have to wait too long to buy snacks."

"Super clean, friendly staff, and tons of recent updates. I wish GQT had a subscription plan similar to A-List so we could go here more often. I've never seen an IMAX screening here, but the screen is huge and the seats are nice. Easily one of the nicest theaters in the area."

"We have been many times over the years but I really like the oversized seats that recline! So much nicer than those old-style folding seats. They did a great job remodeling this theater and we will continue to go there!"
