"Employee is rude and yells and screams. I was in the store today and she kept cutting me off and telling me what I should have done. The only thing that I was trying to do was return a package to AMAZON. I’ve never had to print out a label or do anything other than drop off. She proceeded to call the manager named Jaime and he was no help either. If she was actually a professional she wouldn’t have yelled and screamed also for him to be a manager the same. What an awful place I am going to work with the leasable to see if the lease can not be removed. They don’t need any business like this in such a nice environment. All these other reviews and she’s still not fired shows that the management and owners don’t care."
"As you can see, this UPS Store location is really starting to rack up the bad reviews, so I'll share my story as well. Today, I was charged the better part of $3 for printing two (2) sheets of paper, a ton of technical difficulties when scanning, about 20 minutes of wasted time, and a ton of ATTITUDE! I needed some wet signatures on documents -- but my home printer/scanner died awhile back, and it would be foolhardy to replace it until after my impending move -- so I came to the UPS Store to print, sign, and scan the documents. Big mistake! To begin with, the two clerks present at the store seem overwhelmed and incapable of dealing with the steady stream of clients coming through the door. I brought my documents on a USB drive -- but it was also on the cloud if needed -- and so first and foremost they wanted to charge me $3.25 to rent the computer for 15-minute increments just to open and print the documents. We tried that, and the computer would not connect to the printer to print the documents. So, they had me forward the documents via email instead, and print them that way -- which is probably what should have been done in the first place. I immediately signed and tried to scan, but for whatever reason the scan was not processing, and wouldn't send the finished job either to one of their local folders or to my USB drive. They had no idea how to fix the situation, and were completely clueless in the face of technical difficulties. The whole time, there were customers coming in for other matters, and so the clerks' attention was constantly being divided and they were unable (and/or unwilling) to pay attention to any single task until it was fully resolved; they tried to multitask everything in the store, and do so very poorly. In the end, I never got my documents scanned -- so I need to find somewhere else to scan them -- and I was charged nearly $3 simply to open a file and print two sheets of paper, with the ultimate job being unfinished. I was very tempted to leave without paying but I'm not that kind of guy; if anyone from UPS corporate office is reading these reviews, I'd like my money reimbursed please -- because I certainly can't get back the time and patience that were wasted in this futile attempt! If you live in the Spring Hill neighborhood and are coming to this UPS Store because it happens to be the nearest one, I recommend finding another, or using a competitor."
"The clerk who begrudgingly took my large package today was barking orders at me from the moment I crossed the threshold, not once offering assistance. Not one semblance of politeness or common courtesy, and the words 'please' & 'thank you' are not in her vocabulary!!! Much less 'have a nice day'...I have never experienced such outright rude treatment at any UPS store, not ever. The receipt she very grumpily printed out for me was the last straw, which she resentfully handed me with no thank you, good day, nothing. Store #2422 at 12:29 p.m. today... in stark contrast to the past experiences at this store."
"The store is always neat and attractive, so I would do more business here if the employees were not so dismissive. They are condescending and abrupt as if customers are distracting them from doing something more important. Since my last experience with this annoying behavior, I limit my interactions to Amazon returns, which are rare."
"If you're looking for honest service and a helpful staff - GO ELSEWHERE. After a relative passed away, I packaged and shipped five boxes to our home across the country. We told the employee that we wanted the most economical option - the contents were valuable and needed insurance (china, books, birdhouse, rug, etc.), but speed was not a concern. We were told 3 day residential was the cheapest option. One of the five boxes was completely crushed during shipment and several china pieces were broken despite purchasing nearly $100 of bubble wrap and china specific packaging supplies. I filed a claim with UPS, provided pictures, etc. Without inspecting the box, UPS ultimately denied the claim because there was a sweater in the package that I'd sent in the box to free up room for stuff in my luggage. UPS claimed it was inappropriate packaging material even though it was just part of the contents. UPS would not discuss the denial with me because UPS deemed the UPS Store as the shipper (not me). During the claims process, I found out that ground service was available and would have been ~$200 less expensive. I called the UPS store and spoke to the manager. I started by telling her about the insurance denial. She said it was not their issue since they didn't package the box. I agreed, but told her UPS will only speak with them (as the shipper) and that they needed to act on my behalf to help resolve the issue. I next mentioned that we could have shipped the boxes via ground for less money and that staff misled us. She became INCREDIBLY RUDE and told me the staff just recommended that service - not that it wasn't the cheapest option. I pushed back and asked if she was present at the time of the transaction - she said no. With no knowledge of the interaction, she continued to blindly and aggressively tell me what her staff said and did. It was clear the conversation was going nowhere. A manager from a different location called later. She said they'd file an appeal with UPS on our behalf. No followup occurred. I rarely get fired up, but this experience was AWFUL! The staff misled and overcharged us. UPS denied a claim without ever inspecting the box. UPS would not speak to me despite my family boxing, shipping, paying for and receiving the boxes. The manager was incredibly rude. They were unhelpful and failed to help resolve the claim with UPS. This is a great store if this is the service you're looking for. To make it even worse, as I was filing the dispute with UPS (which took hours and multiple calls), I contacted the UPS Store to get copies of our receipt. They were helpful and said they'd send over the receipts. Instead of sending our receipt, they accidentally emailed me a copy of another customer's DRIVERS LICENSE and SOCIAL SECURITY CARD. I guess you can add careless to the list too..... FIND ANOTHER WAY/LOCATION TO SHIP YOUR UPS PACKAGES!"
