"Do NOT go here if you are looking for an ADHD diagnosis. The testing is not thorough enough, and Dr. Clark is quick to misdiagnose ADHD as anxiety and depression. I went to him at 21 years old after failing out of college because I had never struggled in school and knew something else was going on. After testing me, my results indicated high likelihood of having adhd, but he declared the anxiety I was experiencing as the culprit. I’ve dealt with anxiety since I was 12 years old, and it has never affected my ability to do well in school. I recently re-enrolled at my institution, and after struggling to stay on top of my assignments for 3 weeks, I got retested at Central Alabama Psychology at almost 23 years old now. They took my concerns seriously and preformed a newer version of the same test Clark used to evaluate me. My results indicated I have severe problems with inattention and impulsivity, and I was correctly diagnosed with adhd. Since then, I have gotten the CORRECT treatment needed and have excelled in my school work just as I had before college. Do not go here to get tested for adhd. You will not be taken seriously and most likely will be misdiagnosed. I am very upset that my condition was not caught/taken seriously the first time, and that I could have been living productively for the past year an a half. Since my condition was not diagnosed correctly the first time, even though I displayed a high likelihood of the disorder, I have had to fight many obstacles just to get the accommodations and treatment I need in order to function normally and do well in school so that I can graduate. I am grateful for Central Alabama Psychology for taking me seriously and addressing my concerns while also performing thorough testing, but I am very frustrated that I’ve endured many setbacks along the way to get this diagnosis because of Dr. Clark’s carelessness, inability to pay attention to detail, and inability to ask/perform more thorough questions and testing."

"This is the WORST place you could go to. Me and several of my friends went here to get diagnosed for adhd, and we all got the EXACT same diagnosis. they use the same test for every person no matter how old or young you are. It took them 9 months to give me my results!!! The actual doctor is VERY unprofessional, in my experience he was cussing at me and making weird comments. DO NOT COME HERE When I got tested for adhd, my results were compared to both men and women and all ages from 8-60. please go anywhere else for a diagnosis"

"I made an appointment with Dr. Clark out of pure desperation for help. After reading reviews, I was incredibly skeptical. But, let me be so blunt. This Doctor was the MOST professional, direct, and honest doctor I have EVER seen. I have struggled all my life and I have never had a doctor listen to me and order testing to accurately treat me. I look forward to finally having answers. I can see where some of his qualities may come off as “rude” but I have worked under doctors for several years as a professional and I know the difference between a “rude” person, and a Doctor who is “direct”. His bluntness is needed in his practice to ensure he is properly treating and diagnosing patients. Only down fall is the incredibly long wait periods for appointments. But, I am happy to wait to ensure I am getting proper care."
