"As an atheist I do not appreciate the fact that teachers are getting away with straight up preaching to these impressionable children. It is not up to ADULTS to make kids believe or not believe in any one deity. I'm appalled and outright furious with Sumiton Middle School. Mrs. Blanton needs to focus on HER and her family and teaching actual history. If I have to hear from my student again (and my friends have kids in the SAME class and confirmed this incident) I will be forced to get the actual STATE involved. SEPARATE CHURCH AND STATE in public schools!!!"
