"I had a negative experience in the Guns and Ammunition Department at Dunham’s in Jasper. There is almost always a shortage of employees (or zero employees) to serve the patrons in the department. We were also referred to as, “the older couple are back” in front of other customers. Instead, we departed and I purchased the same weapon at Pat’s Archery (500 yards away) for $60 less than Dunham’s price and received a 10% discount because I am a Veteran. Dunham’s does not give veterans a discount. There are always an adequate number of knowledgeable and friendly employees in the gun department at Pat’s. In the future, we will not be returning to Dunham’s."
"Dunham’s operates separate from the Jasper Mall. You can only enter from the outside, and they offer later hours which is great. The service is good, about what you’d expect. The store is clean and offers a large selection of sports and outdoor equipment—including a good hunting section, something many sporting goods stores have reduced or eliminated."
