"Me and my wife had some marital issues. We have been married 1 year and 9 months, but have found difficulty communicating. This communication had been even harder since I've injured my knee. We thought it would be wise to seek a counseling center to help with our issues. Already feeling some anxiety because I'm dealing with knee issues and marital issues, I feel Tim Goode made a poor first impression. As he looked over the paper work we filled out for client information he noticed I have been taking oxycodone for pain since I had knee surgery. He said, "Make sure you don't get addict to those pain pills". I thought he was joking, but took a firm stance that he was serious. He does not practice medicine, I am not a seeking counseling for drug addiction, nor should he comment on how to take my pills because I have a American board certified surgeon to assess the amount of pills I receive and how much I should be taking. I felt this was judgmental and feel the last thing you want to do is make your patient feel as if you are judging them as a therapist. We have had a previous therapist, Dr William Faulk that made us both feel included, he was very positive, and saw good values and morals in me and my wife. I did not see a good body of work from Tim Goode. I feel he has lost passion for his profession and needs to some work."
