"Jack C. Fisher Park is wonderful and great to see fish and ducks swimming in the pond. Great place for kids to play games there too. Their picnic tables are always clean. Not dirty. Thanks."
"This is where I love to walk in the evenings.Set out of the way, so not a whole lot of traffic except for ball games. Has been updated since I was here a few years ago with the additions of a playground and a netted batting cage. I actually walk part of the Greenbelt trail, and I enjoy not many people out there when I walk. I love the area I walk with lots of trees, and being able to slow down and connect with nature."
"Always an enjoyable day to spend time here taking in the scenery, my family has many memories here of getting together to fish, or have picnics, or walk the trails, play in the fields, even feed the little ducks, it's been a great pleasure for all, and continues to be!"
"Considering the location limitations,, this is a great park! Located just outside the city off W. 5th St., it is easy to find and typically never crowded. Even on day's it plays host to ball tournaments, the opposite end of the park remains quiet and peaceful. Jack C. Fischer has everything you could want inside a park: unique playground equipment, short, paved hiking trails that join the longer Owensboro Greenbelt, 2 ball diamonds with concessions, batting practice cages, numerous movable picnic tables, a covered picnic shelter, tons of shade trees, 2 small but pretty lakes with a bridge crossing, fishing allowances and plenty of grassy, open space. The only thing it really lacks are small grills for picnic cooking and concessions/vending machines outside of the fenced ball diamonds area of the park, which is closed on days there is no ball being played."
"Nice park, place to fish, walk, and watch baseball. It really needs playground equipment. Otherwise nice."
