"Today I did a little exploring at the park. The ruins were nice and I can't wait to come back and visit in the spring when things are prettier. I found a great bench to have lunch and enjoy the sunshine. And then went and started on the trails behind the playground which I believe are trails one and two. I eventually got on to trail three and made my way to the back of the nature center which was closed and the rock garden. A few days ago there was snow so the trail was reasonably sloppy in spots but still in great condition."
"We always love coming here. The nature center is perfect for toddlers. The ruins have some fun photo opportunities. The walking paths are perfect and remind you of not being in the city. They have three separate playgrounds for all age groups. The toddler playground is great because it is fenced in. The only thing I would love to see a change in the pet policy, but I understand that’s not the park fault and they would not really be able to enforce it."
"Lovely park with a scenic installation called "The Ruins" and easy to moderate hiking trails. Highly photogenic. It's also home to a lot of bird species."
"Beautiful place! Ran across it by chance and so glad we stopped. The trails were fun and pretty and the kids loved the playground. The nature center was neat too, the kids really enjoyed the water feature and the dress up animal outfits. Wish we'd had time for the ruins. I definitely recommend stopping in."
"I ❤️ the woods and hiking and enjoying nature it's so very peaceful! And Holliday Park was very enjoyable! The staff that volunteer there are very nice and helpful! For my first time there the lady that greeted me took me in the nature center which was very nice and got me my Holliday Park map so I could find my way around the trails as well and took me to where the trails began. Thank you again! She was so sweet! Also liked the plenty of free parking and so safe and for the most part very clean! Thank God not all people are disrespectful and pigs with their garbage! ❤️ Loved! The architecture of the ruins n the beautiful gardens! Enjoyed my hike to White River and everywhere in-between took away a lot of anxiety. Holliday Park has a lot to offer adults and families it's worth making the trip to pick up your Holliday Park guide book just to see what they my have that interests you! They have so much that I kept my guide and certainly intended to return! I enjoyed myself that MUCH! And still didn't get to see or do it all! Thank you Holliday Park! ☺️"
