"I found Covenant just over 3 years ago and I am glad that I did. I needed a place where I could express my myself, and think out how to respond in different situations. Mark is more than a great listener, he offers real world, applicable, "tools" to help through our daily lives and the stress that brings. The staff is great as well, always friendly and proactive in communication. I receive emails and text messages to remind me of my appointments. All around a great experience, based in Christian principals and presented in Christian love."
"If I could describe Covenant Counseling in two words it would be LIFE TRANSFORMING. My counselor Laurel is wise, insightful, patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. The sessions with Laurel are healing and provide so much hope with practical steps to go through life -- with all of the joys and hardships that life may bring. Having experienced the loss of a parent to suicide and other traumas, Laurel has been a Godsend to me and I highly recommend her at Covenant Counseling. The front desk receptionist, Suzie, is always kind, welcoming, and helpful! If you want to work through the highs and lows in life, please give Covenant Counseling a try! Life can be hard and it's comforting to know you have an advocate and counselor to walk with you through the journey. I HIGHLY recommend Covenant Counseling!"
"A great place for quality counseling for a wide range of topics. I have referred friends to Covenant for years and all had great experiences. They don’t have any magic buttons but instead offer sound advice. I found the faith based advice and counsel to be vital in overcoming a very challenging event in life. I highly recommend Mark and the team at Covenant."
"I have been using Covenant Counseling since 2015, and my experience has been wonderful. The office staff is friendly and caring, and the counselor I worked with has helped me through several difficult, major life events. I consider them personal friends and would definitely recommend them to anyone."
"We picked CC for our children's counseling needs and were assigned Sandra after our first counselor had some family issues. The staff inside of the building at the front window are very nice, but over the phone you never know what you'll get. There is one person in particular that never seems to know what she is doing. We have been assigned times that were incorrect, counselors that we do not see and so on. I have had to catch mistake after mistake while being seen here. Early in January, our entire family caught COVID. We were sick for the better part of the month, and I had to call and reschedule a few appointments that we were too sick to make. Little did I know that this office considers those "no shows" even if you're calling to reschedule, and too sick to attend. This past month, we had an appointment for my son that I scheduled at 4pm due to my work schedule. The same staff member that messes up often scheduled me at 2pm without me knowing. This time, I did not receive any e mails letting me know that my appointment was coming (They usually send out reminders and this is how I have caught this mistakes in the past). So naturally at 2pm, we were not there. I had a missed call from Sandra, so I called back to speak with her. They told me that we had missed the appointment. I apologized, and let them know that I had scheduled it at 4pm and tried to reschedule, they would not. They had labeled us as "no show clients" and Sandra was now refusing to see my son. She wouldn't even call us back to talk about the mistakes that had been made on their behalf or how our family had COVID 6 months ago. I explained to the lady on the phone that this is mental health for a teenage boy who typically does not open up, and it was not fair to cast him out because of staff mistakes or poor policies. That got me nowhere. To this day I have received no letters, e mails, no phone calls to resolve the issue, we have just been dropped. Very poor consideration for clients and their health. It is sad that a counselor would just drop a mental health client over a policy that doesn't even apply to our case especially without speaking to them about what has happened. We will never be back, this has caused a very bad taste for this practice and how they handle things. And it is very sad for my son."
