"We will not be back. Poorly managed. They make appointments without notifying you and then charge you for them and count you as a no call no show. Then act as if you're an idiot when you ask about it because your appointment for the day has just been canceled without notice as well. They actually require you to pay a day in advance for appointments. Sorry. I am happy to pay day of. Otherwise, no. As I said. We will not be back."
"I waited two months for my second appointment here with Emily. It took me about a month to get my second appointment but because of their payment policy (you must pay the business day prior ) I missed it and had to reschedule for a couple more weeks. Anyways , two months later and the day of my appointment I get a phone call from the receptionist (who was super nice) that Emily cancelled my appointment due to an emergency appointment and wouldn’t be able to see me for TWO WEEKS. Emily herself didn’t even reach out. I made it very clear also during my first appointment that I am desperate and need help. I have been battling severe OCD and self harm and I just can’t understand how the day of my appointment I get pushed two more weeks. Really upsetting and I’m still waiting on my 80$ refund."
"My counselor was Elizabeth and I wanted someone to help me gather all my strength and fight back. She was able to peek deep inside me and could address the points I needed. It's been about 2yrs and I still remember everything she told me and I still practice them."
"Absolutely terrible experience! Counselor Elizabeth Gross fell hook, line and sinker for my daughter's completely false lies about me because my daughter was extremely angry at me for something I did to protect her. Ms. Gross did not even attempt to speak with me personally before she actually reported ME for something that was completely untrue then Elizabeth refused to even return my phone calls after I was completely cleared. I wanted to speak with her about continuing my daughter's counseling to hold her accountable for what she had done. Ms. Gross would not even give me the courtesy of returning my phone call. This counselors inability to effectively assess our family's situation caused huge problems for me when I was the one who brought my daughter to her for help in the first place. Do not use this agency if you have an angry teenager! The entire experience was a nightmare! Want to add that the head person in charge did not even offer to look at any hard cold proof or even apologize for Ms. Gross's inexperience/incompetence in correctly assessing what was really going on with my daughter or the problems and time - consuming issues that ensued after Elizabeth Gross actually reported me to DHR. Unreal for sure! Also I think most counselors and management are non-believers. Proceed with caution! Just sayin'!"
"Completely disgusted by the way I was treated here. They are supposed to be “non profit,” but all they care about is money. My therapist retired without even telling me. I requested off work 2 weeks in advance to see another person. They “randomly” do a file check 30 MINUTES before an appointment in which I desperately needed help. Since I didn’t have the amount of money they wanted (I borrowed enough to get there from a friend), they cancelled my appointment and left me in tears and gave me no other options for who to call. If I had plenty of money to give them, I’m sure they would have found a way to see me. Also, SHAME on Mrs. Player for retiring and not even telling me. Really inconsiderate and money hungry despite the fact that they get proper funding and should see low income people needing help. I didn’t get it here......."
